9/11, Refered from Dorn VA for nuero surgical care. Dr. Linwood SMITH concluded, without any physical assessment that I only wanted pain meds. ordered a in hosp MRI and return to Dorn VA for pain management. bill VA for MRI that was not conducted.
COmplaints to hosp resulted in form letter regrets and hopes that I would return to PHG for future care.
Having served as a paramedic for >30 years, conducting research into PHG I can state that 1. I would never return to PHG for care. 2. That any care that cannot be locally performed (outside PMH) should be refered to MUSC or Duke.
