I’ve got a new name for Pam Pike of Reno, Nevada’s Ageless Zone spa: it’s “Pam Scam.”

Come-ons and up-sells. Get ‘em in the door and hook ‘em on anything, whether they need it or not. That’s what Pam Scam is all about. Skimping on inferior products? Make it seem like it’s the best stuff on earth. Customer complaints about contracting infections, nail fungus and scarring from laser treatments? Yeah, well ... sorry, no refunds.

Pam Scam hires and fires people without paying them. Her Ageless Zone spa not only treats employees poorly, she and the spa provide substandard service as well. Not a great combination. You can always tell when employees like what they do or where they work and when they don’t.

By the way, next time you see Pam Scam, ask her why her husband, Ernie Pike, lost his chiropractic license. That’s quite a story. We’ll save that one for later.

I have been sending people to the Ageless Zone for years and will continue to do so. It is an amazing Spa and Salon.

The products are from Salon Centric (Purology and L'OREAL) both proffesional grade product that can only be purchased at a proffesional wholesaler and the same products used a numerous other salons in town and world wide. The other product is from Independent salon Servise , (Moroccan Oil) another professional grade product and one of the biggist sellers.

If someone's hair fell out it was because they used a walmart brand hair color before going to the Ageless Zone and damaged their hair.

Please note, most of the stylist use their own color line note one provided by the salon, as they are independent contractors not Salon staff. I love Purology and and will not change and i do buy it from the ageless Zone not a chain store that might have an illegal knock off of the same line.

If a real client had a ligitimate complaint they would put a name to it and let it be resolved.

Steven Townsend

I came here wanting to do a writeup of Ageless Zone, Pam Pike, Reno Nevada and found this item already here. So I'll just add to it. The thing is about Ageless Zone is that its sylists and (mostly) other working employees are really good. Great stylists. But why they're working here is beyond me. I've noticed that there's a decent amount of turnover, as someone who has gone in a number of times for styling.

I can't complain about the stylists I've had, but I can't believe the way the management treats both stylists and customers. They act as if they're doing you a favor by taking care of you when you come in. Should be the other way around, shouldn't it?!? And some friends of mine who also have gone here have come out with damaged hair after getting treatments. Not because of any problems the stylist has created, but because of the inferior products they use! They're bargain basement! You could probably do better going to Walmart, getting your own stuff and doing it yourself. Patchy coloring, hair actually breaking off and falling out! It's ridiculous. Especially for a spa that seems to want to pass itself off as a high-end salon.

And don't even get me started about their packages. They can't even put one together. Just not worth it. Save yourself the aggravation and pass by this place. You'll be doing yourself a favor.
