Pandora's Box/ Video Specialities ripoff on credit cards fraud, theft and dishonest billing scam Greenville South Carolina

On Thursday July 15, the day I get paid. I check my account. Someone has taken out $204 dollars out. I did not authorize this transaction. My bank, Wachovia gives me a name(Video specialities) of greenville.

The manager has taken money out of my account according to the employee at the front desk. she calls the manager on the phone, who say she has not time to talk to me, she is off the clock. The employee behind the counter then tries to help me. She showed me the contract that I had signed in case of any fees not paid or owed. Which I then tell her that the video tape in which she is referring to, was returned. She then shows me a computer screen, in which the manager(Sam) programed in she called me.(2 enteries).

On Friday, July 16, I call the police dept and they give me instructions on what to do. I get my phone records and return to the store. This time the manager(Sam) is there. She pulls out the paper and says "You signed the contact". I tell her I know that, but I returned to video tape. She says how can you prove that, I asked how can you not. I dropped off the tape in their night drop box.

I rented this video tape three months ago and this is the first I'm hearing off late fee and the fees for no tape. This woman insists she called me, but my phone records, which I obtained form cingular(my phone company) show no calls. The best thing about my phone company is even if your phone is turned off, calls are still recorded on their computer. She made no calls to me all. I asked if you couldn't reach me by phone like you say, why not send me a letter or certified letter stating that I owe you money. She says "We don't have too".

While I am in the store, She says she is going to call the police. The only infromation she would give me is when she called, in which she added two more dates into the computer. Those dates are not on my phone bill either. The officer came, saw no threat that I was causing. I told him the story, he even said it sounds suspicious.
