Started no March 26 04,Bought 5 machines.Assined by Pantheon to a locator known to me only as Ross. Ross was over joyed he had a "distributer" in N.J. "How close are you to Newark Airport are you?" "why only 40 miles" Ireplied. "oh good, how many machines do you have?" "5" I replied. "Oh Gee I hope that's enough, Some of our locations require 7 or 8 and they don't like fooling with multipal distributers" "well let's see what you get. Then we'll wory about it" Says I.

Ross also told me how hard the machines were to get and how valuable they were. Mean while he did get me several locations. One was a 2spot deal. They were all hotels in the Parsippany area which is only 30min. from the house. Great! Thats when the trouble set in. Imidately I contacted the locations and made arangements for machine delivery and location of phone lines. I then called the Phone Co. and ordered phone jack instilation.

Then I called for a DSL line. Boy was that a joke! Seems a DSL with static IP cant be had anywhare in this area. So I spent aproximately 45 days on the phone with every company in the phone book and every one I could find on the internet. Decision was T1 at $300. per month was the only thing available. The Pantheon papers said $75. for phone and internet. It was totally out of the question.

The only one even came close was a motel near the Tappenzee Bridge in N.Y. state. I kept putting in the lines and someone was having them disconected as fast as I could install them. Pantheon had doubled up on distributers. I still have a machine sitting in Madison N.J. It,s been there since July. The man has T1 and is willing to rent mea line.

To date it has not been Installed and I disconected the phone line the end of Sept. I now have a missing machine that nobody knows where it is. It was in a sleezy bar ie Bayone and was suspose to be delivered to Roxbury. Never got there. nobody knows nothing.

I have now paid over $4500 in phone bills and I do not have one terminal working. I have never turned down a location so nobody can say I got to picky. Now I am consentrateing on one machine just a few minutes from the house. It has had working phone and internet sinse the end of Nov. I installed the machine myself and had a tech. at New Edge Tech get it on line, almost. That was around The15th of this month. However it willnot accept credit cards, The HOT SPOT dosent work and nobody seams to know how to put on advertiseing as I have a couple of interested parties.

Getting back to Pantheon, two weeks after I purshased the origional 5 machines, This guy Sandy Gold[Ha HA] calls me and says he is looking at 5 machines right now. Not only that he is willing to give me a big break in the price. Now, we already know these things are valuable, Hell, Batman is on TV telling me its a turnkey operation,Ross is telling me we need more machines to get the top locations, so I make a deal for 2 more! Hey, I'm a TYCOON of the industry!

About the end of July I was so desperate to get machines running that I offered Aeril at Pantheon $1000. to get my machines running. He declined but Jeff Cooper AKA Jeff Cuba Told me that he personally would guarantee a machine up on line and running every 2 weeks and I was gona kiss him. Well, I ain't kissin no Floridia Scumbag. Any how he got me for another 2 machines and totally screwed up most of what I had gotten togeather.

I've sent numerous letters to Pantheon all are unanswered. I've got half a file drawer on these people and I've filed arbertration in Floridia and I'm waiting. Does anyone know of anyone else in this process or does anyone care to go in on it and share costs? Are there any sucessful distributers out there? I'd sure like to hear from you and make you an offer.

These machines can be a good idea - if they work.

AUTHOR: Janet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, March 24, 2005

I hope most of you know by now that Paul wouldn't say something positive if his life depended on it. That said...if you are in the right area, these machines can be a great idea - if they work. I live in an area that gets over a million tourists per year - and most of them don't carry a laptop with them on vacation. (Sorry Paul, but wifi doesn't work too well if you don't carry your own equipment). For those of you that have decided to try to make something positive out of this experience, let's try to stick together and make these machines work.

People don't use these machines enough to make them profitable.

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 23, 2005

The big thing is wifi. Starbucks wifi. Where you buy a plan that offers you a month of access for one fee.

Few people use the kiosks anymore. That's why the frauds are hustling them off.

Try one location, and see for yourself. Some people will use them, but generally not enough to make a reasonable profit.

I'm telling you this so that you don't throw more good money after bad. If cost money to run a line and set the machine up. You could spend another couple of hundred. For what? To get back $40 a month? Not worth it.

technical hurdles you have a payphone with a PC attached to it.

AUTHOR: Ross - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 23, 2005

Don,

I too am a victim of Pantheon Holdings. I am familiar with the technology of these machines.
To put it simply you have a payphone with a PC attached to it. These machines operate just like any other PC on the internet. They require a broadband connection with a static IP address. The pay phone line can also be used though the phone line you had installed for the broadband connection with some minor exceptions.

The problem with getting full use of the terminals is the proprietary software that allows access to the credit card/ ATM reader, bill and coin acceptor and advertising software. behind that software is a normal windows 2000 operating system. You must also have a contract with a prepaid phone card provider to make use of that function. The advertising needs to be hosted on a remote server.

In a perfect world Pantheon was to be our partner and handle that portion of the operation. In their absence we are kind of stuck.

The last know company that handled the NOC
(Network operation center) was a company named Sitanium. I have not been able to reach them.

So Don, If you are able to locate a reputable company that can help us make full use of our terminals.

Please post their name.

Thank you.

Possiable ez-link solution

AUTHOR: Don - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 23, 2005

These machines were shiped from an electronics firm in Calif. It would be possiable to set them up on our own. The problem is I'm not into the technology that is required to do so. However, there are people around who can. The first thing that has to happen is we need to know each other. The other problem is these machines are spread out all over the U.S. I'm in north west N.J. and would like to comunicate with others who got stuck with these machines and set up a system of technitions to install and program the machines and get them running without Pantheon. Locations are easy. Put the machine in the back of a pickup truck and go to big dinners, bowling alleys, and motels and I can almost garantee you won,t be on the road a day in your area without getting a location. Now the problems start. We need tech's and a reasonable internet carrier. I'm not a quitter and I see potenual in this thing, still. If ripoff will let me, I,m willing to make my E mail public. It's dw63427@yahoo.com As I expect a lot of you will be corisponding I ask you please to not go over ground that is already covered by these reports but lets get constructive and do it togeather.A contact name and E mail or phone # , your general location, and the number of machines you are in possesion of. My arbitration with Pantheon is against money lost. Getting machines set up has no berring on this. The company is virtually broke from what I understand so if you do get anything it will be pennys. If you have any douts please talk to your lawyer before getting involved. I owne and am in possesion of 9 machines. I'm trying to make one machine in one location work.

Contact government agencies The FBI, the FTC and attorney general are very familiar with them

AUTHOR: Janet - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, March 22, 2005

There are a lot of us who have been scammed by Pantheon/Global Resources. After the second letter was sent out by my attorney demanding a refund of $19,980 they sent me a machine. I didn't even open it, my lawyer once again demanded a refund in exchange for the machine - since they were in breach of contract. Pantheon then told my attorney to contact their attorney - the name they referenced didn't even represent Pantheon.

A few weeks later, my attorney received a letter offering $4,100 in exchange for the machine. (I am sure this is sounding familiar to a lot of other victims.) It won't do any good to try to contact Pantheon, they will make a lot of promises but won't keep any of them.

The FBI, the FTC and attorney general are very familiar with them - those numbers are available here in other postings. If we all call them, there should be some progress. It's a slow process, but at least they can try to do something about it.
