Papa Johns Gift cards Steals money off gift card. Nationwide

 I purchased a series of Papa Johns gift card which I periodly used to buy pizza every once and a while. 

 Anyway, I went pay using my gift card online and found it was declined, I went in person and tried to use it and the guy said it was not good. I actually just scatched the pin number off so no one could possible know it except the employees which work for Papa Johns. 

 After calling numerous times, I eventually found out that Papa John hires a 3rd party company to run the customer service for the gift cards and I was calling a foreign call center.  Around 2 weeks ago, they decided to take all the money from the card and did not write down a reason or anything.  The money was not spent at any store but rather just removed as an inside job.  

 The company flat out stole my money off of gift card which I purchased directly from Walmart using cash. It is not a second hand gift card, or even one with an exposed pin number. 

 According to their website " Papa John's Gift Cards do not expire and there are no service fees"  

The company I called who does the customer service for the papa John's gift card refused to identify themselves. I guess they feel embarrassed at what they have done. 

So far I am the money and no one has called me back after numerous attempts. 

Bottleline is that Papa John gift cards gift cards can't be trusted and money will mysteriously disappear.

I do not know if they have a security breach, inside thieft, or if its the 3rd party foreign company that is stealing the money from the cards. I know that I have paid for my card using cash, kept the information safe and pin numbers covered until needed for an order and the money has gone missing.
