I went from "Soldier to Songwriter" in October 2009. I was excited about my passion of being a Professional Songwriter, but little did I know I would end up meeting a company in the Music Industry located in the heart of Nasvhille who is ripping off Songwriters and they certainly have done this to me.

I am taking a stand again this company and this is the information I would like to share with other Songwriters:

#1 DO NOT trust ParamountSong (aka Paramount Group) in Nashville, Tennessee they will scam you in a heart beat!

#2 If you are currently working with any of the Representative at ParamountSong, put all your conversations in writing via E-mail messaging and save your E-mails.

#3 DO NOT fall for their false promises in helping you become a "Successful Songwriter" it is all a scam, all they want is your MONEY!

I have sent in a formal complaint to the Tennessee BBB in 2012. I am currently working with the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs and I am pursuing my case so it can be heard at the level of the Tennessee Attorney Generals Office, because ParamountSong has ripped me off on so many levels and they are ripping off other Songwriters too.

I have had 6 Demo songs produced by this company and they have never sent any of songs to Music Business Professionals as they claim they will do for me, the Songwriter.

I had 3 songs on iTunes and Amazon.com, however, this company removed my songs without even telling they were going to, all they will tell me is the songs just "automatically" were taken off, I don't believe them.

They have committed two (2) Breach of Contracts, one with my Songwriting Contract and the other with my NashvilleSong Record Contract.

I have also discovered I am not the only Songwriter this has happened to, I did my own research on the Internet and sure enough I have discovered all kinds of negative information about this company. This company is nothing more than two scam artists who need to be stopped!

I have complied a 252 page document case that I sent to the Tennessee BBB and to the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs. I have spent the past several months compiling and writing the information to present my case in order to stop this company from continuing to rip off Songwriters, they need to be put out business!

Every Songwriter out there should "AVOID" this company all together, they will lie to you and rip you off. I would like to see a Class Action Suit filed against this company.

I recently located 2 Songwriters who were on the same album I was on that used to be on iTunes and Amazon.com before ParamountSong took our songs off of the two internet music distribution sites. I know these 2 Songwriters can help me with a Class Action Suit if they are willing to provide their experience with ParamountSong, because there is no doubt it has been negative just like it has been for me.

If there are other Songwriters out there I would love to hear from you, we need to take a stand and fight for our rights! I am willing to a lot of the work, but I need your help if you're willing to work with me. I am not only taking a stand for myself, but for all the other Songwriters who have and still are being ripped off by ParamountSong.

All of the information ParamountSong writes in their each writer in their fancy letters to the Songwriter which appears to be true, the fancy brochure "Songwriter: How it works", the Songwriter Contract states they will send songs to "Music Business Professionals as appropriate", the Directors Award they send out to a Songwriter after they have entered a song contest, the fancy letters to sign up to be on an "exclusive CD" with your songs (for a fee) along with other Songwriters is nothing more than a scam! and the NashvilleSong Record Contract, they don't tell you up front or in the Contract your songs will only be on iTunes and Amazon.com for 1 year so again it is a scam!.

They give outdated Music Publishers lists, they brag about how they are right there on Historic 16th Avenue and how they have access to all the top companies in the Music Industry, but it is nothing more than a scam!

The only "honest" service ParamountSong offers that is some what of  a decent service is produce a Demo CD (for a fee) for the Songwriter and that is it.

They Are Not That Bad

AUTHOR: Songwriter - ()

POSTED: Monday, April 14, 2014

If you think paying little money will get you in the music business? You thought wrong. I think the work is just great. My demo is being played on the radio and earn me fans. I did not expect paramount to do all this. If you can find someone to do a demo cheaper than write me. They offer stuff but at the end it's the song that sell itsef.

ParamountSong in Nashville is a SCAM and should be avoided!

AUTHOR: Songwriter1003 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, September 01, 2012

I went from "Soldier to Songwriter" in October 2009. I was excited about my passion of becoming a Professional Songwriter, but little did I know I would end up meeting a company in the Music Industry located in the heart of Nasvhille Tennessee who is ripping off Songwriters and ParamountSong has certainly done this to me.

I am taking a stand against ParamountSong and this is the information I would like to share with other Songwriters who might consider using them:

#1 DO NOT trust ParamountSong (aka Paramount Group) in Nashville, Tennessee they will scam you in a heartbeat!

#2 If you are currently working with any of the Representative at ParamountSong, put all your conversations in writing via E-mail messaging and save your E-mails.

#3 DO NOT fall for their false promises in helping you become a "Successful Songwriter" it is all a scam, all they want is your MONEY! they do nothing to help you become a Successful Songwriter, once they produce your music Demo CD you are your own.

What I have done recently to take action against ParamountSong:
I have sent in a formal complaint to the Tennessee BBB in 2012.

I am currently working with the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs and I am pursuing my case so it can be heard at the level of the Tennessee Attorney Generals Office, because ParamountSong has ripped me off on so many levels and they are ripping off other Songwriters too.

I have had 6 Demo songs produced by this company and they have never sent any of songs to Music Business Professionals as they claim they would do for me.

They have not helped me become a Successful Songwriter as they claim they would do for me.

I had 3 songs on iTunes and Amazon.com, however, this company removed my songs without even telling they were going to, all they will tell me is the songs were just "automatically" taken off, I don't believe them.

I have complied a 252+ page document case that I sent to the Tennessee BBB and to the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs. I have spent the past several months compiling and writing the information to present my case in order to stop this company from continuing to rip off Songwriters, they need to be put out business!

Every Songwriter out there should "AVOID" this company completely, because they will lie to you and rip you off. I would like to see a Class Action Suit filed against this company.

I recently located 2 Songwriters who were on the same album I was on which used to be on iTunes and Amazon.com before ParamountSong took our songs off of the two internet music distribution sites. I hope these 2 Songwriters can help me with a Class Action Suit if they are willing to provide their experience with ParamountSong, because there is no doubt it has been negative just like it has been for me.

If there are other Songwriters out there I would love to hear from you, we need to take a stand and fight for our rights! I am willing to a lot of the work, but I need your help too if you're willing to work with me. I am not only taking a stand for myself, but for all the other Songwriters who have and still are being ripped off by ParamountSong.

These areas are a SCAM and RIP OFF! Do Not believe anything that is written which comes from the Representatives at ParamountSong:

All of the information they write in the fancy letters they send to the Songwriter, the fancy brochure "Songwriter: How it works", the Songwriting Contract states they will send your songs to "Music Business Professionals as appropriate", the song contests, the Directors Award they send out to a Songwriter after they have entered a song contest, the fancy letters they send to the Songwriter to be on an "exclusive CD" with your songs (for a fee) along with other Songwriters and the NashvilleSong Record Contract for iTunes and Amazon.com.

They don't tell you up front or in the Contract that your songs will be on these internet music distribution sites for only 1 year, they just tell the Songwriter the Album automatically came off and they dont contact you and tell you when the Album is going to be taken off.

They give outdated Music Publishers lists, they brag about how they are right there on Historic 16th Avenue and how they have access to all the top companies in the Music Industry and how they will help get your songs to all of the top companies, Music Publishers, Record Producers and Artists, but ParamountSong is nothing more than a scam!

The only "honest" service ParamountSong offers to a Songwriter that is somewhat of a decent service is produce a Demo CD (for a fee) and that is it, but they send you a copy of your finished Demo CD with a paper cover which is old school!.

I think it is completely unreal how a company like ParamountSong can continue to SCAM Songwriters and still be in business for so many years.
