I tried the Passport To Wealth......yes you can advertise for free..yeah right unless you lie about what your business is you can't advertise on Craigs list it's not allowed yet that is one of the "FREE" ways they promote to advertise.
I bought 60k leads from one company....signed up for the magazine ads and bought the "walkout leads" spend hours on the phone talking to people trying to get them to the call that trapped me. Oh I did have several people take the test drive but not 1 person signed up and paid the $997. I also tried to use some of the 75k of software that we have resale rights to....I couldn't even get that to work but chalked that up to me lacking in the technical area.
I cancelled my account mid Novemeber 2008 and I am still getting charged the reoccuring $29.95 fee even after sending emails to support with passport to wealth and I have called the number on my CC bill that is for SWREG it just refers you to their website and I filled out a ticket with them several times with no response. NO RESPONSE FROM PASSPORT TO WEALTH OR SWREG. I have filed complaints with the BBB on both companies and I will also follow up with the Attorney General and the FTC......
All I will say is buyer BEWARE!!! oh yeah and RUN!!!

I have cancelled Passport to Wealth

I agree it wasn't easy. When I submitted my cancellation request, which can only be done after logging into the back office, I received a confirmation email, which I had to look for in my spamfolder.
I had forgotten to whitelist their support email with my yahoo account, (that's not really their fault).
In the email they said that I had to go to the website again and confirm that it was really I who wanted to cancel (I have had somebody going into my backoffice and tried to cancel my account long before I was ready to do so, so I am grateful that they check it).
After that I was taken to a second page where I had to confirm again that I wanted to cancel (saying that I needed to be sure, because this would be irrevesible) which I did.
Then I got another confirmation email (that I found in my Trash folder) thanking me for this time and that was the end of it. No more charges. I tried to log into my backoffice again just to make sure it was cancelled and it was.
Before I cancelled I made a little over $7000 with Passport in about 6 months and some of the people I sponsored did the same, others failed although they tried hard and I spent countless hours on the phone trying to help them by walking them through basic computer skills like copying and pasting and creating documents and getting organized in general.
I got new friends this way and we still keep in contact.

Fees are cancelled immediately if You no longer want to Build Your OWN Business

There is no need to lie anywhere, Craigslist or otherwise. No one can build a good business without developing integrity. People still get sales, today, from craigslist and honest communication.
Fine tuning the meriad of ways You can market Your business for free takes practice. Some people are very fast at developing their best tools, some have a longer learning curve. In either case, consistent development works. There is no 'magic wand' waved when you just throw money at things. Most businesses take two years to get into profit and cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. This does not take that long no matter how little you know about direct sales going into it.
There are attorneys, law enforcement and officials on many levels who have investigated and chose to build their business and utilize the products made available through P2W. They bought their business Directly from their sponsor who is putting food on their table. Passport provided the tools. You are Not investing in the company. You are helping individuals make a living during difficult times; and you can help yourself. Take a bundle of those products and build some cool stuff to market with - for free! Determine what your Time is worth and develop a schedule to meet a decent payment ratio. Now you have an outline for a Business Plan.
It would be great to say everyone was honest and upright, but when you chose to build your own business, you can make that choice to be the best entrepreneur you are capable of.
