Didn't even try it. I did a google search of the Sweepstakes
and that said enough.

#2 Consumer Suggestion
They need your money urgently! After all, Florida real estate isn't cheap.

This is the magazine con. They use the fake contest scam to get you to buy magazines. Naturally, the magazines cost 10 times more than the actual subscription price.
Plus, nobody ever wins the contest!
And, they scam you out of your credit card or bank info. Naturally, they drain both of them dry with new fees every month.
So yeah, it is urgent. The yacht payment is due. And, they need money from you and every other sucker they can find.

Hilarious. Who is Pat Haines and what the heck is the urgent message?

When I saw "Pat Haines", I started laughing so loudly. She (perhaps) has become this sort of cult figure who seems to follow me where ever I go. Or is it Pat from SNL? I would say she has been trying to get in touch with me for about 15 years now. Actually, I think it is longer than 15 years since I remember her first urgent message reaching me at my college dormitory.
When I found out that she had been trying to get in touch with many other people with urgent messages, I suddenly didn't feel so "special" any more. I am impressed, though, with her expertise of finding me after I have moved about 10 times to different parts of the world.
So who exactly is this Pat Haines? I never opened the envelopes but I notice the handwriting on the return address never seems to change. What skill! What does she sell? Does she have any plans to move on from Clearwater, FL? Is she the telemarketer I played with and to which gave out made up credit card numbers?
Seriously, though. Who is Pat Haines and what the heck is the urgent message?
