Patent & Trademark Institute Company did not make final payment to the Patent Law Office as agreed in our contract. Roslyn Heights New York

I contracted PTI (Patent & Trademark Institute) to get a Patent on a new tool that I invented. I had to pay them in full before a Patent was issued. They refered me to a patent lawyer and was supposed to pay them in full to complete the patent process. I received a letter from that legal office telling me that I had to send them another $1,120 for a final payment to get my Patent as PTI did not make final payment. I later discovered that PTI was in legal trouble and shut down. I beleive that they still owe me the final payment of $1,120 as per agreement to pay for the patent in full.
I am interested in joining any class action lawsuit against them.
