I have also been conned by Pathfinder Business Strategies and am appalled at what Drew Miles is able to get away with. I see I am not the only sucker who has been fooled by Drew Miles.
I see several rebuttals on 4 different reports that are out there for Pathfinder Business Strategies. These are all letters from Drew Miles customers all saying positive things about him and his company. It is interesting to note they are all from Pathfinder Business Strategies, Sebastian, FL, Drew Miles himself or his cronies. He is trying to be slick by thinking the customers will not notice it. No customer has responded favorably directly. This is a type of game he plays to portray a nice guy image. He is using the Rip-off Report platform to make himself appear legit and innocent. He stalls the customer continuously by demanding more and more documents only to drag the situation to frustration. Pathfinder claims exaggerated amount of savings on common sense deductions which most of us take if you have a business. These deductions are helpful to people who are employed and don't have their own business to take any write-offs or have a business only as a cover to take write-offs.
Pathfinder offered risky tax deferrals, (not savings) which are not approved by IRS and no accountant is willing to endorse them. My accountant is a professional who was not willing to risk his credibility. Pathfinder has a standard written guarantee to save additional $100,000 in taxes before they even know the client's background. They randomly guarantee savings without knowing circumstances of the customer to save. They use slowdown tactics to demand more and more documents until you are too late to get a credit card refund. Their practice is to take the money, follow a common tax book (such as Lower Your Taxes by Sandy Botkin) and ordinary software to produce canned reports of inflated ordinary deductions typically taken by a taxpayer or absurd deductions which no reputable accountant will allow as they are tax evasions by IRS position. Their basic program of $2,500 is no different from the high priced program of $25,000. The only difference is in the income of the customer. Their guarantee is worthless. A good tax attorney can easily judge the value of the program to customers by verifying new tax saving deductions taken after signing for the program.
