Pathways Concrete Bad Concrete Work Montogmey Illinois

The company says they were paid in full which is true. However, the reason they were paid in full is they asked for $2000 up front which covered the labor.  On the day of the installation I had to pay the concrete company for the cement which was the rest.  So I had not choice but to pay the full amount.  Tom the owner arranged it like or he would never get a pay check.

The company also said that they were working with the customer and that the job was done per the specifications.  Both of these comments are not true.  He has not contacted me to work things out.  Also the specs never called for a pitch that is unlevel, a zig zag shape or a crooked step.  This is just terrible workmanship and I don't want anyone else to get burned by a contractor that does not do things the proper way. 

At this point my patio is a disaster and the only way to fix it is to rip it out and start over.  I certainly will not let Tom (Pathways Cconcrete) andywhere near this since he could not do it right the first time. 

Please if save yourself the hassle and don't hire them. 

Hello, this reponse is from the concerned company in question.  The patio was done according to the specifications of the homeowner.  The job was completed per the owners request and paid in full.  We are sorry to see this negative post and we strive to make every customer a happy client but in some situations expectations might fall short.  We are responding because we truely believe that we compelted this job to the best of our ability and the home owners expectations which is why we were paid in full.  

We have contacted this homeowner in an effort to resolve or address the issues at hand.  However, the homeowner is unwilling to work us.  Please take into consideration that we have done all that is possible on our behalf and please do not take into account the posting on this website.  WE ARE NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF RIPPING OFF our CUSTOMERS.  Our reputation and word of mouth proceeds us.  If you are in doubt pleaes give us a call and we would be happy to explain anything and tell you why Pathways has been and will be the preferred concrete contractor for years to come.
