Patricia Gillum 2 Boys Productions Fast Talking Family Film Producer takes advantage of good people, Internet

I was contacted on multiple occasions by Ms. Gillum over the past year and a half. I am an advocate of family films and television shows. She calls and uses high pressure sales tactics raving about the returns and success of her past projects. I have done some due diligence and all of her projects have lost money for the retail investors. Not too mention she co-produced them so she was paid hefty producer fees as well as her selling costs for raising the money. By being a "co-producer" and not the rights holder, she released herself from most of the liability if anything went wrong. Well, now she's in the drivers seat and producing another "low budget" family film about Wiener Dogs as the LEAD producer. I have spoken with a couple other investors that dropped over 100k a piece into her last project and never saw a dime. She emphasizes that she's a mom and has 2 boys, thus "2 Boys Productions" to help find some common ground with family film investors. The money is handled poorly, she goes over budget and takes large payouts. On top of that, try asking for full disclosure with accounting. The statements are a joke. All Im saying is stay away. There are a lot of very solid family films companies out there doing it the right way. It can definitely be a great investment, but be very leary if you get a call from her. Take care.
