Patrick Dube of Patrick's Audio Visual Services, AVS Claims to be licensed & bonded (NOT) on install TV, surroundsound. Came to home, made $300-500 estimate. Worked some then asked for $750 promising to return. Never showed, ignored email and phones. Patrick's AVS is a Rip-OFF Glendale , Arizona

Patrick advertises in Craigs list for surround sound, installation of speakers, and TV, Plasma etc.  Came to house and made estimate of $300-500 for installation of three speaker sets (I provided the speakers and bought the wire). After working several hours...Patrick said he needed to quit for the day but would return the next day.

Told me he needed to buy parts (speaker switch etc.) and asked me to pay in advance a whopping $720.  I did so reluctantly, but he seemed nice and responsible.

That was the LAST I saw or heard from Patrick despite several dozen phone calls and emails. NO RESPONSE...just ignored them.

Called the State Board of Contractors, and they have never heard of the guy. Finally when he would not return phone calls or emails I began warning other CL folks about his unsavory business practices with regular ads. Only after a month or so of that his wife called to blame me for destroying his business.  I explained I ONLY wanted my money back, or my job completed. Nothing happened. My surroundsound remains unworkable. I hired Cox and others to add cable to my grandson's bedroom (which Patrick had agreed to do) and have bought a speaker switch so paid for it twice.

His business is obviously fraudulant and I urge all potential customers to listen carefully before using him...and NEVER PAY IN ADVNACE.
