After being outbid on an Intel processor I received a notification saying that the buyer had backed out of the sale. I was offered a 2nd chance to buy the processor and was told that they would sell it to me for what I had bid and that they would cover the shipping.
The first red flag came when they said they wanted to deal through eBay Square Trade, which I had never heard of before.
The final red flag came when I received the Square Trade invoice that said I had to pay through Western Union.
With that information, I found that this is a fairly common scam and immediately told them to move along to someone else :-) Beware!
