 I too have been taken by this snake of a person.  Wrote me checks on a account that was no longer in existence.  When he gets knee deep in debt, he closes the business and opens up another one.  He has had Lincoln Park construction, Patriot Construction, and now he has Construction Management Services Group.  Here is a story about Robert Skertich frorm 1994 where he ripped off an old lady, http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1994-10-20/news/9410200318_1_roof-skilled-workers-fraud-suit.  You should be ashamed of yourself Robert.  Do not use this man for any home, commercial business he will screw you over.

There comes a time where you just need to learn that silence is sometimes better than anything else. It has been how long????  3 1/2 years and you still want to debate this?   

Here is the fact.....You hired my husband, you didnt pay him and we didnt keep our mouths shut about it like you hoped.  Accept responsibility for goodness sake.  We have gotten over this and we were the ones stiffed!!! 

You apparently will never realize that your bad business practices and immoral and unethical behavior will eventually come back to bite you. Judging by several posts prior to mine and the continuing ones after, your lifestlye remains one of continued deceit and bad behavior.  It is one thing to make bad choices for your own life, but don't involve other people with your bad decisions.  There are actually honest people out there that work hard, pay bills and accept responsibilty for their behavior.   Fact is...YOU hire someone, YOU pay them.  YOU hit someones car, YOU fix it. Simple as that....Welcome to adulthood Robert!  Until you realize that YOU are the problem not everyone else YOU screwed over, you go right ahead continuing to blame the "disgruntled employee", "angry wife", "non paying homeowner" or whomever else you want to blame.  All I hear is a whiny immature man who makes excuses for bad behavior, POOR POOR YOU!  Well...Good luck with that attitude, it's worked for you so far so hey....why not keep going with it.  I kinda feel bad for you actually!  You will eventually not pay the wrong person or screw over the wrong homeowner who actually has the time and money to pursue you in court and then what?  Oh...let me guess, it was the judge's fault  LOL

The complaint is a fabrication by an employee we fired. We have 18 employees and obviously put out payroll every Thursday. This post is baseless and meant to mislead clients.

Do not trust Robert Skirtich, he has no morals. While have not had the pleasure of hiring his company, I can attest that this guy resides at the lowest level of moral corruption. I am a college student and got rear-ended pretty badly by him in the middle of Chicago while he was on his cell phone. He asked me not to call the cops becasue he had just gotten a ticket and the cops still had his licence. He admitted fault and gave me all his insurance info, so I figured I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. I significantly regret my decision. After almost 1 year, I finally got my insurance deductible back, but not after insurance litigation and lawyers were involved. This guy was willing to cheat a college student, who was nice enough not to call the cops on him, of over $1000 of damages he caused. I can't think moral corruption can go much lower than that. I have no difficulty believing the original poster that this guy stole him of his payment. Also, look at his yelp page, this guy is a pathologic liar.

Yes, anyone who worked on this job and did not get paid should take the matter up with the owner. I was hired to supervise and this is a debt where her home was unjustly enriched. The neighborhood is so dangerous that I could not go back there and fight for my tools which she kept. Tools amounting to over $ 2,500.00 are still in her posession.

She will not answer our calls.
