I purchased a home from Patriot in April 2008. They appeared to have a good product, and I most likely used the same dealer the first report on Patriot used-also not the best soul (we wont mention names like Creative Country Homes in this report....yet), anyway, our home was installed, modular build. The home looked great, but closer inspection revealed some issues, as expected with any new build, things like.. nails poking up through the floor, plumbing leaking, multicolored paint, multicolored shingles on the roof, and so on.
The contacted me a few months ago stating that they were "really busy, be patient and we'll be there". Next thing I know I get a BK notice, postdated Feb. 3, with my claim to be filed by the 5th...... we got the letter after Feb 5th. We contacted the dealer, who has not come to complete the repairs he needs to either, and got the "were in the same boat" story also. What a crock of crap.

THERE ARE SEVERAL WORDS THAT KEY ME OFF THAT IF I DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE THAT I WILL PROBABLY BE RIPPED OFF... BUSINESS NAMES THAT END WITH "ENTERPRISES" AND THE TWO BIGGIES ( DRUM ROLL) ARE CHRISTIAN AND PATRIOT ( LIKE THE PATRIOT ACT).
I MIGHT JUST BE SUPERSTITIOUS OR IT JUST MIGHT BE MY LUCK OF THE DRAW LEFT TO CHANCE BUT EVERY TIME I HAVE DEALT WITH A BUSINESS WITH THOSE NAMES PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED IN THEM, I HAVE GOTTEN REALLY BAD LUCK AND TERRIBLE THINGS FOLLOWED FROM HAVING DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM.
I HAVE HEARD OF THE OUTFIT IN wACO BECAUSE I AM IN AUSTIN, I HAVE HEARD THAT THEY DID SUBSTANDARD WORK --WONDER BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ANY ILLEGAL ALIENS WORKING FOR THEM -- OR MAYBE THEY GET THE ONES WHO DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CARPENTRY AND FINISHING WORK. LOL
ANOTHER GOOD EXAMPLE OF WHY YOU CAN'T TRUST YOUR GOLOD OLD BOYS ANY MORE. THEY ALL THINK LIKE YUPPIES NOW.
