I purchsed Belly Bands for my Cairn Terrier from Paws to Admire.  They had a special deal, I think it was 10 bands for about $80 which was a great price.  They were not custom made as they did not allow you to choose fabrics, you just got what they sent you.  It was money down the drain, they are useless.

These bands don't work at all.  They are so light weight, more like quilting fabric, they just scrunch up into nothing and of course the dogs private parts are out in the open - I can accomplish that without the band. on.  I tried putting two of them on, I tried putting in the feminine pads, I tried everything.  They shrink to about two thirds the size also.  I have long hair and if anything they make a good headband!  That's about the size of it.

This Company does not give refunds.  It does not back its product and just argues with you that it is somehow your fault that there product is faulty.  I asked for a credit or exchange towards something else but they won't even do that.

Returning soiled dog diapers is so unsanitary!

AUTHOR: Pawstoadmire - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 16, 2012

The customer just responded that she requested to return these for a credit, not a refund.  This was not what she stated in her phone conversation.  She said she didn't want to return them, but wanted a credit.  A credit is very similar to a refund.  She would be getting free product with a credit.  Free product after keeping the items for 2 months.

However, she just stated that she wanted to return her belly bands for a credit.  She told me on the phone that her dog peed in the bands.  She stated when she came home from work, he had peed in them.  So why would we want to receive her belly bands back with dog pee in them?  Not to mention how disgustingly unsanitary that is to handle such a product.

This is why we have a no return policy on our belly bands.

And for the record, we never received any email from her regarding a return.  I personally handle every single email that comes in and we keep all emails on file, and we never received her email.  She could have called us 2 months ago if she did not receive a response to her email, as well.

Owners reason not the truth

AUTHOR: donna - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, November 16, 2012

I just wanted to say one thing about the Belly Band manufactures response to my complaint.

I emailed twice but got no answer so I called and asked to return the items for a credit, not a refund which I thought would be fair for both parties.  The conversation with the owner was just a lot of blaming me for everything and not taking any responsibility for the flaws in her product.  Sadly, she is not interested in hearing why they don't work so she can improve them.  It's too bad as this is a great way to go out of business, not get more successful. I've had my own businesses for many years and I know how hard it is to hear critical remarks, but if you can you are sure to improve and your business secure success.

I wish her well and hope she can reflect on my remarks someday and work to better her product.

Buyer waited 2 months to claim they didn't work, then wanted to keep them AND a refund.

This customer received her order 2 MONTHS ago.

She claimed the belly bands she received did not work with her dog.  She said she wanted to keep her order, (she specifically stated she did not want to return them) AND wanted credit (refund) towards a different product.

(1)  We have a NO REFUND / NO RETURN policy on belly bands.  Our website clearly states NO RETURNS on all of our belly bands pages, our invoice says "NO RETURNS", and paperwork she received with her order also stated "NO RETURNS".

(2) I do not know of any company that lets you keep the product AND gives you money back or a credit for your purchase.  Especially on custom made products.  And yes, her order was custom made.  All of our products are hand made to order, according to the size and specifications of their orders.

We did not force her to purchase a 10 pk of belly bands.  We offer SINGLE belly bands, so customers can be sure they fit correctly and will work for their dog, before buying a larger quantity.  She had never purchased our product before, and ordered 10 custom made, non-returnable belly bands in her very first order.

She then waited 2 MONTHS to claim they did not work and wanted a credit towards something else, while keeping the products.   That is not how our business works, and that is not our policy.
