Pax House is a "company" made up of one person, supposedly located in Guadalajara, Mexico. It sells new and used church religious goods. The "owner" of this "company" says he's retired and living in Mexico. Payments for anything bought from him however go to a man in New York City. The Pax House website used to say that it was a non-profit organization that helped the poor and needy of Mexico and Latin America. At one time it also mentioned "orphans" and "nuns". Now the website says that all profits go to help the poor and needy of Mexico and Latin America, plus three hundred abandoned and abused dogs in their "no kill animal shelter". No non-profit set up to help starving orphans diverts money and donations to a dog shelter. "Abandoned and abused dogs" tugs at the heart strings for more potential "donors" then does "poor and needy of Mexico and Latin America".

A go fund me link on the website takes you to a web page where the owner sobs about his broken vehicle and his hungry dogs. You get to see three photos of dogs up for "adoption" (out of three hundred) and a photo of a room full of white dogs that looks photoshopped. Nowhere on the Paxhouse site is there a go fund me link to help the poor and needy of Mexico and Latin America. This guy has been around for years. He posts comments on You Tube that are ads. He also sells on eBay, using the same "non-profit" pitch and a link to go fund me for his "three hundred dogs". His eBay listings used to talk about helping the poor and needy of Mexico and Latin America too. Now they only mention the three hundred dogs. The "ripoff" nature of this complaint doesn't pertain to the religious goods that he sells, though people have complained about some of them being crap. It DOES pertain to his tax exempt, not for profit "charity", which keeps changing its reason for being.

"We help the poor and needy of Mexico and Latin America!" "And nuns too, God bless the nuns!" "And orphans, yup we help orphans." And despite years of having been DESPERATE for funds with which to help the poor and needy of Latin America, nuns, and orphans, he opens a no-kill animal shelter for three hundred abandoned and abused dogs? Buy his "for charity" stuff at your own risk. You may be happy with it or not, and not care what your money is really used for, but do NOT donate to his "charities" via go fund me. He's a ripoff.

Not a rebuttal, one more thing I failed to mention...

It's odd that a dog rescue shelter in Guadalajara, Mexico, caring for 300 dogs, isn't mentioned or listed ANYWHERE on the internet, except on Pax House's own website and in its eBay listings. Other animal shelters ARE listed, no doubt because they are registered in Mexico, AS animal shelters. Again - avoid this bogus, ever changing "charity".
