I heard an ad on the radio, that this company could assist with paying off multiple payday loans, I called and talked to a representative and got some information.  I asked if I could call them back to think about all the information that they had given me, and they said sure.  I called back and again I talked with someone in depth about the program.  I decided to join.  I agreed to the initial enrollment fee, someone from their company called me back the day that they processed my payment and pushed it through so to speak.

She then stated that she would transfer me to a banker to complete the process and go over the packet, which I still had not rec'd via email.  While explaining he told me that I would have to hard freeze my account or close it all together.  I told him based on my life and job that neither of those was an option and that the young lady that I spoke to simply said that I would need to take notices from them to my bank to stop the payments.  I advised him that had they said that I would have to hard freeze my account or close then their program would not have been for me and I would not have moved forward.

I explained to him that I had already been on the phone for 30 minutes still at work and at this point I did not want to go forwad with their program, he kept me on the phone trying to convince me to stay I said no, then he said that he would have to escalate the call, and someone would call me back in 24 hours.  A gentleman called me back within 15 minutes named John, and again tried to convince me to stay, finally he said that he would cancel me out, but my $80.00 that they just debited today was non-refundable because I had started the program.  I was like are you crazy, I had not started the program I was on the phone with the guy getting all the information and said that I did not want to move forward.

This company is a rippoff.  I have not used any of their services, and they can't attribute anything that they did or issued as items that needed to be covered, as everything was electronic. How can you keep someone's money for 1 phone call.  There was no consulatation fee. I will continue to fight this in an attempt to collect my initial payment back as I backed out, while still on the phone with them.

It is a shame that they are running this scam on people that are seriously trying to get out of debt. They are just as bad or worse then the Payday Loan people themselves.

Contact State Attorney General

AUTHOR: The Man - ()

POSTED: Thursday, September 12, 2013

If you have had dealings with these people, please contact not only your attorney general, but the office of the attorney general in Alabama.  Their consumer hotline is 334-242-7335.  This company is in violation of several laws and FTC regulations.  The biggest being their fees.  It is unlawful to collect any fees for debt settlement services until settlements have been reached.  This company takes all of their fees out of your first three payments, and then does nothing banking on the fact that most people get frustrated and give up.  They will then claim that you "dropped out" of the program and refuse to give any refunds.  The primary owner is Jared Irby who is the CEO and the V.P. is Steve Lowell.  This is their fith debt settlement company.  So far Jared Irby has operated under United Christian Financial, Fidelity Reserves, Action Financial, PDL Assistance, and now Payday Loan Support Center.  When the heat gets turned on, they simply shut it down and reopen under another name.   This time, however, they have comitted criminal acts.  Please call the Alabama Attorney General's office and report them.  Again that number is 334-242-7335.
