My wife purchased two PayPower cards to use on a vacation for us to Mexico.  When she activated the two cards she informed them that we would be using the cards in Mexico.  She was not told that there was a special registration that also had to be completed to use the cards in a foreign country.  Much to our surprise, when we tried to use the cards in Mexico, they were not approved.  After almost 40 minutes on the phone, (paying roaming fees) we finally got both cards registered to use.

Once we were back in the U.S., we decided to use the cards to purchase groceries.  We called the tol free number and were given the balance of the cards.  We went to get groceries and found out that PayPower had charged a $5.95 fee for each card as a monthly service fee.  This was charged although the cards had not been activated for a whole month.  My wife purchased and activated the cards on Feb. 9th, and Paypower charged us the fee on March 1.  I strongly suggest to anyone, DO NOT purchase a PayPower card for any reason what-so-ever.
