Like others of you who have gotten ripped off from this company, I too have learned the hard way.

They prey on people who are trying to get their finances back in control and wind up making their lives worse.

On September 30, 2005, PC One called me and I spoke to a gentleman named Phillip. He told me that I would get a $5000 Mastercard with the ability to withdrawal up to $500 a day in cash advances. He also said there would be a $1000 increase to my limit after 12 months by paying my minimum balance on time.

And he made sure to state that I would receive my card within 21 days. It would arrive Fed Ex and the Fed Ex driver would need to see a picture ID. He also stated that if I were not home at the time, they would leave a notice and I could call and have them deliver it at any time, even on Saturday.

So, me, being the nave person I am (trying to always trust people) said yes. Phillip told me that they would withdraw the money on 10/14 and that I should call him at 1-866-341-6676 between 9 am and 5 pm EST and to use the BADGE #8055 to get directly to him. He gave me a verification number of and said that I would have to use the last 4 digits of my SS# as a temporary pin when I called. He made it sound secure and like I could get in touch with him at any time.

Because I live in an apartment complex, our Fed Ex packages are delivered to our Community Center. I had forgotten to tell them that and called the office on October 28th. I spoke to a woman (unfortunately I didn't get her name) who said that it was not 21 days from the date I spoke to him, but 21 days from the date the money was received. So I said then it's going to be another month, right? And she replied, oh, no, it should go out Tuesday (Nov 1). I said OK and left it at that.

Today (November 8th), I hadn't received it and wanted to make sure they hadn't tried to deliver it to the Community Center so I called back. When the girl answered the phone, she pulled up my account and said that the payment had been confirmed on November 3 and that my Package would be delivered by December 8th. Um, WHAT? That's not 21 days from the date they took my money.

She then proceeded to tell me that it was 21 days from the payment confirmation date which was November 3rd. I was furiousthey debited $349 out of my account on October 18th for something I wasn't going to see until December 8th because it took them over 15 days to confirm they had my money? HelloI can go to an ATM and withdraw $100 and then go to and ATM from a DIFFERENT bank and confirm that my balance is $100 less than it was 5 minutes ago. With that kind of technology they need more than 2 weeks for payment confirmation?? I don't get it.

So of course I was angry and asked to speak to someone. She stated that they were CCR, the customer service agency PC One uses after the payment is withdrawn and that there was no way for them to connect me to PC One and they had no phone number to give out. I asked her where they were located and she told me Champlain, NY.

I immediately called information in New York. No such listing. I called toll free directory assistance. No such listing. I tried looking it up on the internet. I called CCR back again, and the CSR was now starting to get rude because she already told me that she didn't have a number. I asked to speak to a manager or someone who could help me and she said there was nobody that could give me any more information on PC One. She finally gave me an address for the company.

I went online and searched for this company and that is where I found this site. By reading the other complaints, it seems as if I am never going to receive an actual card, only applications and information. I'm not really happy about that either.

I called them back one more time and this time a man answered. I asked him how I would go about returning the Package since I felt like I was lied to and was getting ripped off. His words were Ma'am, you've already spoken to 4 people who gave you this information. You simply return the contents of the package once you receive it. I said, excuse me, NO. Nobody told me how to return the product. I simply tried to get a phone number for the company earlier today and nobody could help me with that.

I again told him that I felt like I was getting ripped off and nobody could help me and that I was going to report the company as well as CCR to the Better Business Bureau, and he then told me he didn't want to get into all of that with me, was there anything else he could help me with? I simply asked if ALL of the pertinent information to return the product would be in the package when I received it and he said yes. I then said, Thank you and have a wonderful, wonderful day.

I immediately proceeded to the Better Business Bureau's website where I filed a complaint. They state that it could be 30 days before I hear back from them, but I don't care. I will follow this all the way through. I'm a single mother of 3 (my ex passed away this past March) and I'm just trying to reestablish my credit and catch up for me and my kids. And this company completely took advantage of my desire to pull my life together and of my being nave. Something needs to be done about them, and as far as I'm concerned, CCR for not being able to actually being able to SERVICE the CUSTOMER being they are a Customer Service agency.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
