PC PRO Schools inside look
If your considering a career in IT, you may want to consider all options before you decide to attend PC PRO Schools. Here's why::: They offer a certification program for over $26,000 that anyone can do for much much less. The kicker is the financing....You will be financed with a very high interest rate and even more....you will need to ask others you know (with good to excellent credit) to cosign with you. The repayment on these loans are usually 3-4 times what the tuition is and they carry a variable rate interest so they could continue to rise, making the payback even greater. When you complete the program (provided you pass) then you are expected to find work in a field that is very competetive right now. The salary ranges that are given to prospects are far above reality. Alot of graduates are finding it very difficult to land good paying jobs due to the lack of experience. If your looking to invest 26,000 to 80,000 to go to school, I would suggest a more well known and upstanding option other than PC Pro Schools. Your better off in the long run. I know this because I was an Admissions Recruiter there and I know how they operate. I was very successful there and I am in no way disgruntled. Just an oppinion and an FYI. How I was ripped off is they let me go because I wasn't willing to take advantage of people and their money anymore. They also have a clause in their employee handbook that states that you forefit any earned commissions if your employment is terminated before the 15th of the month. Of ALL 9 Admissions recruiters that PC PRO Schools has let go since they opened in January 2007, none of them were let go after the 15th forcing all of them to forefit their commissions. They are just really unfair about their labor practices. I believe that charma will come back on the owner. He's the mastermind behind damaging peoples lives.

Violating someone's first ammendment right is illegal. Don't let this alleged "attorney" scare you into thinking any different. You can post anything you want about pc pro as long as it is fact and I saw nothing in there that would be defamatory. I had gone to college and received a degree. One of the classes I had to take was advertising law. Let them try to sue you don't let them scare you.

I need to retract the statements I submitted about my former employer, PC Pro Schools, Inc. I was upset because I was not paid monies I thought I was owed, but later realized that I had signed an agreement and acknowledged receipt of the Employee Handbook which clearly indicated that I was not due the commission payments. I was angry when I wrote the initial report. I do not want to hurt any current or future students of PC Pro Schools of realizing their potential in the IT field, nor do I wish to cause harm to anyone at PC Pro Schools. PC Pro Schools graduated many fine students at their Grand Rapids, MI location and many of those graduates have found excellent positions in the IT field.....The following is an email I received, and is how I got the wording for this retraction to comply with request to avoid any leagal action..................Your attempt to modify or retract parts of the Rip-Off Report that you authored fall short of a full retraction. PC Pro Schools, Inc. will commence legal action in Federal Court for defamation/libel if a complete retraction is not done to our satisfaction. Statements still remain in your initial report dated August 7, 2008 that are unacceptable. The following is suggested language that PC Pro Schools, Inc. would find acceptable as a retraction. The language needs to come before the original report that you authored on August 7, 2008.

As an ex-employee I have to retract my statement regarding commissions and the handbook. As I was aware when I was hired that I would forefit commissions if terminated before the 15th. As did all of the employees who forefitted their commissions. I still was very successful there and made alot of money. I just had problems with how I was required to do it.

As stated in my report...I am only expressing my opinions and am in no way disgruntled. There is one statement that needs to be clearified. If you can afford the tuition and you can go to the school without financing, then you can save yourself a ton of interest.
