PDF Or PDF Manager I wanted to download the free version of Adobe Reader and I was charged $71.24. Internet

I entered a search for Adobe Reader. The vendor at the above web site was the first one listed on Yahoo Search Engine. I clicked on the first listing which was titled "AdobeAcrobat 8.2 - Free Download". The address within that listing was AdobeAcrobat.Download-New.com. When I reached that site, I clicked on the download button and went through filling out some forms. I was asked for credit card data and saw that I was going to be charged $13.77 a year for 3 years. I decided to accept that but when I got to the submit order stage, the total to be charged to my credit card was $71.24. I did not click on submit. I clicked on cancel, but the order was processed.

I called their customer service and received verbal confirmation that the order was cancelled. I later sent an e-mail requesting e-mail confirmation of the cancellation. I received a response confirming the cancellation, but was told it could take severl weeks. I cannot get back to the customer service without resubmitting an order. I can tell you the order was handled by Multibill.

I do not believe this site is actually selling Adobe. I believe fruad was attempted on me, assuming I get credit. It also appears fruad and/or unfair business practices were used against Adobe. I will also report this to Adobe.
