I actually spoke with francine outside one day and asked her "why are the people not getting paid" Her response was Jeffrey only leaves a certain amount of money in the bank, so I rush over to cash my check with the other closers and we can cash our checks.............

Then I asked "what happens to the other employees" she replied" I don't care as long as I get paid". That's mean why would you do that francine, her reply was "Jeffrey is paying us so much money just to go along with it"

Most will not take him to court, most can not afford to do so.

But Due to this persons past /present practices as seller of travel and vacations , entrusted with those very peoples savings and personal information (tires,come on! ), and his more recent activities as a resident, writeing Bad checks,fraud and decietful banking methods, and abandoning private homes ripping off small business owners with his partners of crime , resident and convicted criminal of this very state and criminal elsewhere in the US of similar and other crimes as well , did repel permanently some very intrested tourists from visiting florida.(Disney per say)

Disney has some high standards and they would have to be high to hire Jeffrey Hirschkorn the scam man.

Could you imagine the bad press Disney would have gotten if Jeffrey was working for Disney when channel 6 showed up?

It's getting pretty bad for the bankers in Florida.

The local state attorney's office doesn't think that bank fraud is that serious of a crime, but let me tell you, it is and it affects everyone of us.

My bank can not even get the Orlando Police Dept to come by to discuss a $25,000 bank fraud case.

What has happened is very simple, the local jurisdictions do not want to have to pay to prosecute these crimes and that leaves the consumer and the bankers holding the bag.

How can one man named Jeffrey Hirschkorn get away with so much?

I have done a backgound check on this man as he triend to open an account with us and what I found I can not put in writing as it violates the privacy laws.

I will say this, Jeffrey Hirschkorn should be the poster child for the worthless check program.

Why did it take a Channel 6 news report to run before Altamonte Police raided his offices 2 days later?

I saw this story on channel 6 and I congratulate the reporter 6 for going after this story and exposing this dishonest man and his crooked business.

These crimes must be investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law and maybe then these con men may stop setting up shop in Florida.

This same man has even written worthless checks to the Courts.

I have bankers in Illinois that tell me this stuff goes on in Chicago all the time, but never in nearby Indiana, reason being is that Indiana goes after these crimes and does prosecute them.

So the crooks stay out of Indiana and end up victimizing the people in Illinois.

The state of Florida has enabled these corrupt businesses to flourish.

The State can fix this problem today by just prosecuting these cases and it will force these fraudulent people and businesses to either leave the state or run a reputable business.

My investigation revealed hundreds of worthless checks written by a Jeffrey Hirschkorn to many individuals and business.

It is my opinion that some of the local banks are guilty for allowing this person to have access to a checking account.

My investigation also shows fraud and identity theft and a pattern of deception that has gone on for many years here in Florida.

If you have been a victim of this company, call your local politicians and demand that the state change the way they address worthless checks and bank fraud.

The State of Florida and specifically the Altamonte Police should be ashamed of themselves for looking the other way concerning the illegal activities of this man and his business.

Fight back victims and continue to stir the pot, keep the pressure on and eventually the state will be forced do prosecute these white collar crimes.

To those employees who claim a stop payment was done on their paychecks, call the police immediately. The law is very clear concerning when a stop payment can be done and for what reason. The state generally handles these differently than they do a typical worthless check.

Jeffrey Hirschkorn President of Peobody Vacations was arrested on Jan 15th, 2010 in Florida for Identity Theft, Grand Theft, 2 counts of unauthorized use of a credit card to pay for his car repairs at a local Goodyear Store and forgery.
