Peak Property Advisors/Don McClain Dishonest home "investor"/over $8000 promised - no follow through The Woodlands/Conroe Texas

BEWARE of Peak Property Advisors!! We were lied to, and now in HUGE financial strain! 

Don McClain of PPA contacted us on April 30, 2014 via Craigslist in regards to buying our home.  He immediately offered an amount of $10k less than our asking price. In the dire need to relocate - we accepted his offer. Don promised the closing to happen within 2 weeks, as he HIMSELF was purchasing the home to update and then resale/lease. Didn't quite go down that way!

Don turned around to try and quick sale the home to OTHER investors. After weeks of having to haggle Mr McClain... we finally contacted and were offered $6K less than what we had agreed upon; again. As we had made an offer on another home - we just needed to sale ASAP.

When all was said and done - we only recieved HALF of what we were promised! After contacting Don after closing - he informed us that he would fix the issue and make right of it. Its been several days... we have called relentlessly, emailed, etc - NO WORD AT ALL!!!!

We have taken loans to purchase a new home, and now can not pay essentail bills!! - And CAN NOT move without the rest of our money. So I guess, we will be homeless. He doesn't seem to care - as long as we got his cut. And now, after reading several reports on him and his "company" - I see we were among many others being ripped off!!! If you have any information on how to make him pay PLEASE contact me immediately!!
