Pebble Creek Ranch Apartments--Greystone Property Management Charges To REPLACE Things NOT Destroyed Sugar Land Texas

RENTERS BEWARE! If you are residing in these apartments or are thinking about it, here is a little peice of information you might like to know. We rented there for one year and it was nothing but headaches with the front office. We were wrongfully accused of things, and then they tried to charge us the next time it happened. Once there was proof that it was not us, no apology was given.

The last straw was one month after we moved out. (move out was april of 2008) We received a statement for two burners being replaced on the stove. Now, being someone who loves to cook...I think I would have known and complained had there been TWO BURNERS out!

The second item being charged was for an ENTIRE apartment of carpeting! I heard this horror story from more than one person, but cannot really vouch for the validity because I personally did not see how dirty it was. In my case, we had three girls in one room for one year. They are kids, and as with all kids, spills happen. I truly expected them to charge me for their room...but the charge was for the ENTIRE APARTMENT of carpet replacement. This charge completely used my deposit AND I am being charged an additional 212.00. I will not pay this...I am filing disputes every where I can, and also notifying as many people as possible. While 200 does not seem like a whole lot, in these days with gas rising so quickly it is.

I would also urge you to beware of the office staff, because one of them is not as truthful as she should be. She will bend the truth to suit her needs.

In short, I just believe that they are money-hungry and do not want to pay for the general upkeep expenses that come with having an apartment complex.
