PEOPLES CREDIT FIRST ripoff Tampa Florida

I received a flier in the mail advertising a Platinum credit card with a $5,000 credit line. I wrongfully assumed it was a Visa or Master Card and the asked for a $49.00 payment to open the account.

I gave them my debit card number and they snd me a package with a credit card but not what I expected. There was a catalog with junk stuff listed that could buy from them which was a joke. All the things n there did not amount to $5,000.00.

Upon seeing this I sent the card back right away and asked for a refund. I did not send the catalog back and received a letter a few day later asking for the rest of the material they send which I then mailed to them by Priorit Mail. I tacked the shipment and learned they received it on October 28, 2002 and to date there has been no refund.

I called them today and the demy receiving the material. So much for there money back guarantee.
