I am writing this complaint because of the absolutely worst customer experience I have every had before to me is what I just went through with this dealer ship. I will be filing a complaint with ford motor company as well. Let me first start by
saying this is not the first complaint I have filed on this dealer ship. To sum up my previous complaint, I had some repair done on my truck and was charged $3,000 and found out in the end the issue was a $250 brake pad set all along.

The dealer ship even admitted this was the issue and after a conference call with the owner pat hickey I was told more or less tough luck and it is what it is and they would not be making it right.

That being said I moved on. Yesterday (11/16/12) I call the dealer ship to see if they had lease options on the ford raptor. They said yes and to come in. After realizing the terrible gas mileage I decided to pursue a f150  truck with a ecoboost engine due to the better mpg. I went and test drove two vehicles and then the sales rep and I went in to discuss the numbers. He instantly wanted to pull my credit and I explained unless we could be within $50/ mo of where I wanted to be I would let
them pull my credit. At this time I disclosed what I owed on my truck that it would show a accident on the carfax, and my current payments, also my current credit scoring. The sales rep stated they would still want to check my credit.

So I explained the sales rep that I have excellent credit and to work the numbers based off of me qualifying for the best rates, and in return if it turned out that I did not qualify for the best rates I would understand why the payments would come back higher. Finally he said ok let me go check. He came back and stated that we were going to be within the $50 range
from where I wanted to be. I asked him once again to verify with his manager before allowing them to pull our credit,, explaining how angry I would be if the came back at the wrong payment. He came back and said once again yes we
will be within the range.

So we let them check our credit. He came out maybe 10 minutes later and introduced us the the finance director ( Jim Eagle ). Jims first words were, let me just be honest with you guys we are at $694/ mo with $13,000 down, we told the sales rep we wanted to be at $520 with $0 down.

Making the difference if lets say we were with in $50 / mo range from where we wanted to be $124 /mo and $13,000 down off from where we were promised. I turned to the sales guy and asked what happened and he said he didnt know..
they checked with Chris bowman the guy that I came into see and the guy that said we were going to be within that range and he just said we were nowhere close.

So angry we left. They called me back today (10/17/12) to say they could get us where we wanted to be and to come back in. I asked multiple times if he was being honest before I drove back in and he said yes.

So we drove in to find out after 2 hours that they made a mistake and we were $1000 off.  After 2 hours of going back
and for and agreeing on a new deal a total of 2 time and having to talk to 2 manager and the owner I was finally told we could do the deal. I went out to tell my wife and 10 minutes later Chris bowman came back out and said they couldnt do the deal now because he just found out about the crash. He made up some excuse that carfax reporting was down last night and he didnt know about it. I told him I told them already 3 times about it and he said sorry cant do it end of story so I left.

Pat Hickey Took Care Of Me

AUTHOR: Jake - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, November 26, 2012
Hello all,

Most people i have noticed on here do not take the time to update if their concern was taken care of. I wanted to take a minute to set the record straight in my case specifically with Peoria Ford. Pat Hickey, the owner contacted me a few days ago about this issue and actually took the time to have a conversation with me, and listen to my concerns about my experience.

I have to say not only was he a pleasure to work with but he took very well care of me and he did sell me a new 2012 Ford F150 with Eco boost. I received an excellent deal and it was in my price range. I think in this case i probably over reacted to my experience and in the end i must say i am extremely satisfied with the outcome of this situation. Peoria ford has me as a customer for life as i will return to purchase all my parts and service from them for now on.

Thanks pat Hickey, and Thanks Peoria Ford.

Why did i go back ?

AUTHOR: Jake - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, November 18, 2012

Well the reason i went back was the owner Pat Hickey told me when the issue with service happened he would make it right if i ever needed anything. So i thought i would give them another chance and let them sell me a new truck... but I guess i was wrong in going back. I can promise if they dont make this deal right with me i will never step foot in that dealership again and nor will i ever reccomend them to anyone.
