Wow, what a horrible experience doing business with Performance parts wholesale.com!. Still no tracking numbers as promised. I was guaranteed on Tuesday 8/9/11  my parts would be at my house on Friday 8/12/11. No Parts!! No tracking number, no anything! My confirmation/receipt email from them email of 8/10/11 at 8:35 am says I will have a tracking number in one business day.

As a cautious consumer I called the customer service number provided on the confirmation email/receipt. That is where I met RONA. It took nearly 15 minutes for her to pick up, as she described it their was a high call volume causing the problem. She said I called the wrong number, and got angry as I read the email that gave me that exact number. I could tell she was upset as I shared my need for my brake parts. I need the parts I paid for to get my car on the road again. I cant get a credit and go to a reputable place now because you have my money and I cant get it back. For you other consumers out there remember with internet purchases it can be weeks to get your money back, it CAN NOT be done instantly.

Well Rona is angry with me and claims she is transferring me to the right place where I can get my tracking number for those parts they claim are on the way. My experience is the carrier notifies me directly and gives me a tracking number I can click on to see my package location. Well I got suspicious of angry RONAS transfer since the unbelievably annoying hold recording was not playing on the line anymore. So after a total of 35 minutes looking for customer service rep and  a tracking number for my already paid for parts, I finally hung up and called back.

Then I experienced a miracle! This giant company that was experiencing this very high call volume, RONAS excuse for poor service, and I lucked out and got RONA again! I mean what are the odds? Well I went after her hard for dumping my call in lala land to bend me over, I guess she didnt think I was nice enough or something. Well I told RONA I had documented the wasted 35 minutes on the first call and demanded someone that could provide customer service. She said this time she would be sure she she got me to the right place. The next part of the con job/horror story is I waited an hour and forty six minutes on hold, with the same recurring phone message every three minutes before I finally got to speak with AEERE GOLIFARDO.

In the mean time I had grabbed my work cell phone after waiting an hour on the second phone call, and 19 minutes into waiting on that line you will never guess who answered again-RONA. What are the odds?? I am getting some Powerball tickets as soon a I figure out where my missing parts are. I had to ask her about the now suspicious high volume call excuse so I pressed her isnt it just you there? Yes she admitted she was the only one working that whole department. Her supervisor later admitted the same thing. They allege they are this giant company doing a million a day in sales and one foreign call center employee is their whole commitment to customer service? As cheap as a rep is in a Philippine call center and you only have one? REALLY, have they ever heard of Zappos or the concept of customer service? When I demanded to speak with a supervisor she claimed repeatedly their was not one. Then she hung up my call again. If you have not figured it out by now no they are not from America and no you cant really understand them without re-asking the same question multiple times. She was really good at continuing to say I am sorry, which does NOTHING to fix my problem. She said they are in the Philippines. NICE!! I am so happy they cut costs.

Well, back to AEERE, after 2 hours I find at first they thought there was a credit card problem. A few minutes later the story changed. Now they cant ship the part 2 day mail , even though they dinged me an extra $39.99 for the 2 day shipping. I pointed out the website and they themselves know the weight, not me the consumer. They decided they did not want to pay to ship the 35 lbs 2 day mail, so it is still in the warehouse while I rent a car till it gets here at this point. A website should never accept fees for a product or service it knows cant be delivered. So THREE FREAKIN HOURS of my Saturday wasted helping the Philippine economy and all I got is they will check and see on Monday where the part is then maybe get it coming on the ground. Hey, this just in, the good old US Postal service has great rates for up to 75 lbs with 2-3 day delivery for much less than they tagged me for on the bogus 2 day charge. They did finally offer to reimburse my fraudulently misrepresented and charged shipping fees.

I am interested in a class action lawsuit, contact me if you have similar story
