Perfumebff.com Selling Fake Creed Aventus New York New York

Purchased what I thought was a 4 oz bottle of Creed Aventus for $161.99 as a birthday gift. Wrapped and given by second party. Approx. a week and a half later I visited the recipient and viewed the bottle. I own Creed products and figured something was wrong. The black wrap around the bottom was not properly aligned, the bottle wobbled and the cherry on top was the spray cap. It read "CPEED". The receiver had discarded the box paperwork etc. Contacted Perfumebff via email.

I was honest and told them the paperwork, tracking number etc. was gone as was the box. But I provided a photo of credit card statement with pertinent information of company, dates and money charged. Informed them that I was requesting a refund me nuts the cost of the Creed box. There was a 14 day period between the charge and my contacting Perfumebff. My concern is that others don't have the same scam befall them as myself. I contacted the Better Business Buraeu in NYC. This is a life lesson for me. I will go back to the trusted sites I have used in the past. The $25-40 savings is not worth the hassle and inconvenience.
