Peroutka and Peroutka Lying about balances! Pasadena Maryland

I financed a car in February 2011 and had to leave work due to a medical condition so I voluntarily surrendered the car in November of 2011. The finance company auctioned off the car and I had a balance. Since I was still out of work it was sent to collections and purchased by Peroutka and Peroutka.

The day of the trial I was unable to make it due to the same medical condition that had me out of work and when I asked for a new trial date I was denied. When I received first contact from Peroutka and Peroutka I informed them of my situation they said that they understood and were willing to work with me. I returned to work in December 2012 and I promptly received a letter stating that there would be a garnishment of wages enetered against me even before I received my first check!

I contacted them the day I recevied the letter and set up payment arrangements. The balance owed on the car was 4500. I informed them that I would be able to make payments in the amount of $200 a month and was willing to have them do and ACH from my checking account in order to ensure that they would get their money on the day it was due. They refused that option and told me to send a check. 

I sent them a $200 payment and later that week I received an email from my hr department that they received the garnishment paperwork from Peroutka and Peroutka. I called them immediately and was told that it was a mistake and that I could disregard the information. 

A week later the garnishment was on my check. Like I stated before the judgement against me states that I owed 4500 on the car. I called today for my account balance and they said that I still owe $3755 on the account. So far the garnishment has taken $1165 from my pay and I made that $200 payment which is $1365. 4500-1365 does not equal 3755! 

i asked to speak to someone about the discreptency and was told that there was no discreptency and that they would send me a copy of all of the payments received. They are horrible people and refuse to listen. All they do is rape you in fees and interest and then send you on your merry way. Do not deal with these people ever if you can help it. Currently seeking legal advice on how to deal with this disaster!
