I received a brand new Luger 9MM for my birthday and had no idea how to even load it.  So I went on the internet and looked up a class and found Michael and Brenda Walker's Personal Protection Specialties in Cadott, Wisconsin, a two hour drive South of Park Falls, Wisconsin, where I live.  The class was March 10 at 8:30 AM.  I paid $200 by credit card for the class so I could be certfied for a concealed weapon.   March 10 was a Saturday.  I am 64 yr. old.  I went to bed early because I had to get up by 5:30 AM to get on the road to get there if the roads were icy.    I got to the Town Hall in Cadott and no one was there.   My Verizon Wireless voice mail registered about that time and there was a message that was left from the last evening about 11:00 PM that they had cancelled the class.  I got home and they had sent me and email at 11:00 PM on Friday even that they had cancelled the class.   Evidently Michael Walker had hurt his back on Thursday and had known all day Thursday and all day Friday and had not bothered to tell me until 11:00 PM Friday night that they were cancellng the class.

I was pretty angry.   Both Brenda and Michael Walker tried to turn the blame for the communcation "error" around on me.   I have copies of all the bullying type communications they sent to me via emails.  They are very abusive.  I finally demanded my $200.00 be refunded.   Michael Walker did not want to refund my $200.00.   I threatened to file criminal charges against.  He then refunded my $200.00, but sent me an email saying that he was gong to send me to a Collection Agency to Collect the $200.00.   I thought he was INSANE.   That was March 14, 2012.

April 14, 2012, I received a Collection Letter from THE LAW OFFICES OF ROSEMARY BERQUIST, P. O. BOX 5528, BLOOMINGTON, IL 61702-5528.   This Law Office is trying to enforce a collection for RAPID RECOVERY SOLUTION, INC. who bought a debt from PERSONAL PROTECTION SOLUTION, INC.  

So, what kind of a scam is going on here?  THE WORST KIND.  THE KIND THAT NO LAW ENFORCEMENT WANTS TO DEAL WITH BECAUSE IT IS ONLY $200.  So he will continue to do it and get away with it.

Michael Walker's ego

JoAnn Muir is absolutely correct when she characterizes Michael Walker as having an "ego problem." I am a retired police detective, and recognize people that have deep seated emotional problems.

I am the Vice President of an organization called the Gun Owners Legal Defense Network. We offer legal protection to gun owners. We have a program designed to reward gun instructors if they promote our non-profit organization to their concealed carry students.

Michael Walker was sent an email from one of our representatives asking him if he wanted to participate in our rewards program. He responded by calling our main office. At the time of his call, all the lines were busy, so he left a voice mail with his number. Within five minutes, I returned his call, and this time, I received his voice mail. I left a message that were were extremely busy, but that we would return his call by the end of the day.

Within a few hours, Mr. Walker started posting negative comments on our Facebook page under his company name, accusing us of having "just plain out right bad customer relations," plus other derogatory remarks. The president of our company decided to remove the remarks and block any further posts by Personal Protection Specialities. It was then that Mr. Walker's ego problem and his irrational behavior surfaced.

Mr. Walker sent an email to our company that stated, "I'm still waiting for you to get back to me shortly. I see you took my post off of Facebook, that's not a good idea." It was at that point that the Board of Directors of our company decided that we did not want to be involved with Mr. Walker or his company, Personal Protection Specialties. I sent him an email back, stating, "This is Robert Surgenor. I called you back within 5 minutes after you called our main office the first time, and got your voice mail. I explained that when you called us, I was on the other line with another person with another person on hold! You elected to put your post on our Facebook page, which was unfair and misleading. Our president elected to remove the post. We don't plan on "getting back to you shortly," and your veiled threat is 'not a good idea.' I would suggest that you just forget about the Gun Owners Legal Defense Network."

It was soon obvious that we were not finished with Mr. Walker's ego or his irrational behavior problem. He sent another email to our company, "You are acting more like your the boss or something and that makes no sense to us. "Your acting like MY BOSS I said it's what I call the Boss like syndrome. I have the right to post anything on the internet I want and I will be totally truthfully about how you treated us when we asked for you to answer questions..and I will now post how I was treated by you." Mr. Walker also stated in his email, "I'm giving you one more chance to redeem yourself."

Within the hour, Mr. Walker was posting more negative comments on our company's Facebook page, this time using his own personal email address, Michael Walker, encouraging other people to post negative comments about our company. By this time, hundreds of people had read his posts, and another decision was made to remove the posts form our site and ban his personal name from entering any more negative content.

JoAnn Muir has no idea how correct she is in evaluating Michael Walker. If he doesn't get what he demands, he flies into a rage and begins a systematic procedure of revenge. He makes that comment that JoAnn Muir should not be a concealed carry permit holder. In my opinion, Michael Walker shouldn't even own guns, let alone teach gun classes!

This customer is RIGHT about Michael A. Walker! Just type his name in on google, or type it in with VDO Specialties in it, he is a long time scammer, with a really bad ego problem. This man is a psychopath, a liar, and a fraud. PERIOD! There is no doubt whatsoever that this customer got ripped off by this clown. He threatens everyone, and does his best to scam people. But he has NO POWER, he is a paper tiger.
Never EVER give this clown the benefit of the doubt. ALWAYS prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law. Never stop, and NEVER back down. Ask his ex wife! File a BBB complaint against him, he had 88 in one YEAR in Caldott Wisconsin! Look it up!

If you think you can promote ANY business on the net with your horrible reputation, Mikey, then you are WRONG. Watch and see! Get a GUN license from Mikey Walker? Are you CRAZY!! SUE HIM!

Michael Walker just proved how he is a bully.  He hurts his back on Thursday and did not bother to call me to cancel until 11:00 PM on Friday Night to tell me he was cancelling the class to be held at 8:00 a.m in Cadott WI on Saturday morning.  He had plenty of time to contact me.  He is BLAMING me for his error and has bullied me all along.  AND he has carried this to ridiculous extremes and has a HISTORY of carrying these exact types of things to ridiculous extremes.  I have reported him to the WIS Dept of Revenue where his business is NOT registered because he is not paying Wis income taxes on his business either.   He filed bankruptcy on his other business and defrauded people from that prior business, too.  He has numerous complaints filed from that business venture.    Just be warned he scams people that is why I am writing this and he is a bully Do Not Do Business With Him.   

I already received my concealed carry permit from a REPUTABLE INSTRUCTOR.

Not a Well balanced Customer, Unreasonable and Lies

I had to reschedule a class because I hurt my back, it was sudden however every student in that class was notified and no one else had a problem. 

Every was warned the day before with plenty of time and we rescheduled the class. Everyone was happy with it except this argumentative lady.

This Lady later called and complained that she showed up because her Verizon phone was screwing up and did not get the message in time, we left both emails and phone calls...the day before, she still was not happy..and being very us reasonable.

But the funny part was she claimed she read the email at 11pm, and also she called our offices in the early morning before Class, so she knew something was up why would she call in the morning?? and not leave a message? We later found out she found a class in her local area that was sponsored by the Tech college and she changed her mind in wanting to attend that instead ours, she used our rescheduling as an excuse to extort a refund out of us. 

Then she used the excuse that we did not notify her in time and she demanded a refund, we told her there are no refunds as she was well aware of. She threatened to call her bank so in the spirit of protecting our merchant account from frivolous complaints we immediately refunded her and told her to reschedule the class as we require and she refused, so we filed a collection effort on her, and notified her via email of same.

She then called her local police and lied to them stating we were harassing her and threatening her, of which we were not,  they determined she did not tell the truth..and told her we were within our rights to file that collection action, and have a no refund policy..she then lied to her police and said she was an attorney she claimed to them to be. 

In no way did either one of us bully her, I have all the emails to prove it was all on a professional level..she had every opportunity to reschedule her class to any other date we offer.. she just refused to..and insisted on a refund.

We more or less considered her to be a hostile customer and just went on with our collection efforts, the reason we do this, 1. it's an industry standard as we purchase books and materials for students ahead of time and most of these materials are Registered in the students names and cannot be reused for another student, thus making them useless unless they attend another class.

We will now call the police and get a statement to see if indeed they claim they cannot file a criminal complaint because it's only $200, we believe again this is a lie and we will purse a Libel Lawsuit against her.

People like this are very argumentative and trouble makers and should not be Concealed Carry Holders anyway.
