I placed my order on Dec 6th, 2004 and I received a confirmation letter stating that it would be 3-5 days for shipping. Under each item that I ordered it said "This item is scheduled to ship in 7 days". I must say that there was a "banner" on the website that stated if you ordered by Dec 5th, it was guaranteed to arrive by Christmas.
The banner did not state that if you ordered it after the 5th that it would not arrive by Christmas. Also, I received the confirmation letter telling me when I should have received it which should have been the week before Christmas.
No surprise, my order hasn't even been shipped yet and it's Jan 5th, 2005. I e-mailed the company 3 times with no response. I couldn't find a phone number to call so I had a friend send an e-mail (the exact same e-mail address as I sent my inquiries to) telling them that she wanted to place an order but she needed the phone number (she didn't want to order online). They sent her the phone number in a matter of minutes, yet they stated that they never received my e-mails?! SCAM
When I called, the absolutely rudest woman answered the phone. I'm not exagerating when I say that either! Basically she told me that my item was scheduled to ship next week. I explained that this was not what they guaranteed and that I wanted a partial refund. She transferred me to a man that basically said that the "banner" on their website superceded the confirmation e-mail that I received after I ordered and that they would NOT issue me a partial refund. Oh, by the way, he told me that it was scheduled to ship "tomorrow" not next week like the original person told me.
Oh by the way, he told me that the confirmation e-mail was automated, that's why the banner superceded the e-mail. (Again, the banner didn't say that you would not receive the order by Christmas if placed after the 5th) That is the most ignorant thing that I have ever heard. When you receive a confirmaation from a company, that is what you go by.
I am not holding on to the hopes of receiving my order and based on other comments that I read about this company, even if I do receive it, the quality will be very poor.
I will never deal with this company and I have already spread the word to MANY people.
