Personnel Concepts Phone Harassment Ontario CA

  I mistakenly filled out a form from Personnel Concepts that I received in the mail. It was telling me that I needed to purchase a labor law poster to be compliant. After I filled that out, the flood gates opened! I received calls from Personnel Concepts saying that there were more posters that I needed to buy to remain compliant. The first one was $130. The second time they called they needed me to buy even more posters which came to $170. Today I received a call from them again stating that I needed almost $300 more in posters!! When I told the lady I would need to look into this and call back she said I couldn't call back. She said this was a public call and we were being monitored and that I needed these posters to remain compliant. I said fine, she could invoice me but if it turns out that I don't need the posters I will be returning them. She laughed at me and said "Oh no, you won't return them". As soon as I hung up I did som research. Not only can you get these posters for free, my place of employment does not need all the posters that they said I needed! I called the Department of Labor as well as Ohio Department of Commerce. Ridiculous! I also called to cancel my order from Personnel Concepts, but the lady had not entered the information in yet. So now I have to wait for UPS to come in and tell them I don't want what was sent to me so they can send it back.... I was never, not once told over the phone that I could get these posters for free. I work for a church, it's not like we have all kinds of money laying around to spend on things like this!
