Petfinders Alert (not Petfinders) is a scam company ripoff Las Vegas Nevada

This old guy called me on my cell phone asking if I lost my cat. I said yes, where did you get my number? He said from a newspaper ad I placed. He said that for $69 he would have his folks call all the homes on the nearby streets using a special cross referenced map showing addresses and phone numbers.

Since I was grasping for anything, I said yes. He was supposed to send or fax me a list of the numbers he called and the responses. He never did, he just charged my Amex card, which I have a dispute open for. There are other negative comments about this company, and I should have resisted, but when you lose a friend you will do anything to get him back.
