Philips Arena Atlanta Spirit, Empire Tickets, Encore Tickets, Peachtree Tickets, Smooth Tickets fraud, illegal sell of tickets to consumers Atlanta, Georgia

Philips Arena (Atlanta Spirit) which own the Atlanta Hawks and Thrashers, along with various ticket brokers are being sued in a lawsuit filed in Fulton County Ga case# 10EV009766G.  This lawsuit brings to light the fact that Philips Arena employees along with these ticket brokers have been involved in a scheme to defraud the general public that attend any event at Philips Arena.  The basic scheme works like this: when a concert goes on sell at Philips Arena the staff illegally hold or block the better tickets for the brokers (for a fee) knowing that the ticket brokers are going to sell these tickets for triple and quad-triple the original price.

This violates the consumer rights whereas the average consumer will never be able to get a front row seat unless they purchase the ticket from the broker.  It is supposed to be equal protection under the law but in this case that doesn't exist!!! This violates free enterprise along with a list of other consumer rights.

Harm is done to the consumer whereas he/she is getting ripped off by the ticket brokers who all have become millionaires as a result of these unethical practices.  Imagine this, you have a daughter that would like to go see Justin Bieber so you wait up until the tickets go on sell on TICKETMASTER. Tickets go on sell at 12:00 am Friday morning and you attempt to purchase tickets @ 12:01 immediately you find out the best seats available are in the 100 or 200 level!!!! How is that possible???? Its possible because they've already blocked off the best seats for the brokers!!!! The brokers get the tickets the next day knowing they are going to be able to sell tickets they purchase for 100/150 bucks for 500 dollars are more!!!!  Now is this fair?? I think not!!!!!!
