Phillip Vernon Vernon Vending Services FRAUD Dallas, Texas

Phil Vernon is the same Philip Vernon from Florida.  Local B.B.B. listed  him to be an owner of Vending Concepts last time I checked.   Same slick sales lines and now works under new company name with Lou LaVilla. Has a lavish office decorated with someones else's money.  Be careful when working with this company.  The guy in Florida  was  correct.  I checked it out.   New territory now.  Look out Dallas/ Ft Worth  con man on the loose.   No need to reply to this artificial. I  don't play stupid he said or she said games.  Everything  can be verified  through local government agencies. Hell- just go to Dallas Craigs list and see their ads.  I'm calling Florida to let them know were he can be found.  Just thought other Venders in Dallas needed  to know the truth.   3853 E. Loop 820 S. Ft Worth, Texas is the address of Vending Concepts.  His business card  has  contact info as  817 451- Vend or    Phil@vendingconcepts.net. I was told by  another  local vendor that he still tries to sells equipment and locations under a different name as of last month.  Everyone in Dallas is talking  about this Lou  guy and Phil Vernon.  I would  not pay cash to anyone associated with Phil Vernon. People work too hard for their money.  You would think that Vending Concepts would have looked into this  before jumping into  bed with this guy.    Bad  Decision  for any one. 

This is the same Phillip M Vernon. He has lived in Sarasota Florida and Dallas Texas. The class action suit filed against him was for vending machines he took money for and never delivered. He has been doing this type of business for a long time. He uses the money to create a quality of life for himself without regard to what he is doing to others or for paying any of his bills.

 He and his entire family have been in this "business". They started selling encyclopedias at state fairs when he was young. It's in his blood. The vending machine business is ideal for him. He makes promises people like to here, takes there hard earned money and in many cases just leaves them hanging. I was not able to get any money back from him. He is hard to nail down.

 I think the class action suit was the only way to go. He was arrested and had to pay restitution, however I would think the people still lost money in the end. He, of course, feels sorry for himself only. He taught me that people like Phillip Vernon have a plan to rip people off, while people like me have no plan at all. I am honest, hard working and responsible. The perfect sucker for his scams.

 The only way to get info on the class action law suit is to call the Miami court house. The Sarasota police may have ifor too. He has a record for bad check writing in Sarasota as well. If you check PIPL.COM for Phillip M Vernon in Florida it will give you a list of the places he has lived. Best of luck.

Above referral is Michael Garceau.  A) does not pertain to the time period in question and B) does not pertain to my situation or that of other vendors that were ripped off by Phillip.

Besides, 450 machines...that is like 2-3 people.  Counter to that you probably ripped off 5-6 so the point being?

Lets review the signed contract that Phillip BREACHED:

Item #1    He did NOT place in Oshkosh.16 machines 1 hrs away in Milwaukee (without approval)

Item #2    Obtain permission to placehe did NOT do this eitherreceived call from Jordan @ BSI to pick up my machine as wasnt authorized to be there

Item #3    Did physically place 16 machines OUT of 255 and again not all were authorized and did NOT introduce to authorizing person

Item #4    Did allow me to accompany him for the 16 locationswhat about the other 239????  Never got placed by Phillip.

Item #5    Show how to buy most cost effective product..not really but will concede this one

Item #6    Show how to service and repair equipment.vaguely so will say he did but there is
nothing to servicing a machine

Item #7    Locator agrees not to place any other type of Equipment (other than Buyers) on location secured by Buyer.  Broke this item at Penske.  When servicing the machines, stopped here and key did not work.  Was with Josh who bought my Milwaukee locations (he can verify how poor they were).  Called number and was told my machine was in another location there and that his locator was Phillip also.  So he breached that vendors contract and mine in one.

Item #9 (as he cant count right, skips 8)    Regarding lose of location.  NOPE he did not do anything regarding BSI after making again numerous calls to Phillips.  Because he still owed me 239 other locations.

So, as you can see, a signed contract by Phillip means nothing to him.  He will double placed, not perform, locate where he wants regardless of contract or authorization (if he does do anything), and not refund what is not earned.

Phillip isnt worth the toilet paper you use to wipe your a*s with.  This is plain as day.

Why doesnt Phillip address the issues??  What about the vendor in California he ripped off?  She said she called Phillip repeatedly with no response back.  What about the couple in Detroit that was dissatisfied with what they got from Phillip?  What about the vendor in Phoenix that asked Phillip questions when considering hiring him?  He would not answer questions and then not return calls?  These are people that I have had conversations with that found me and told me their stories about
Phillip.  Now I know this is hear say but know there are other VERY DISSATIFIED vendors out there that Phillip ignores, blows off, and owes money to.  No referral can justify or mask that. 

Why not talk about those that are dissatisfied?  Phillip doesn't have raving reviews so why not address why so many are dissatisfied?!?!

I just noticed this also. Phillips posts state from Venicethat is part of SarasotaFlorida.  That is where the Class Action suit is from.why not address that Phillip?  Why was there a CLASS ACTION suit against you?  That is not one person, that is many that had an issue with Phillip.  There is no coincidence there.  Phillip has a history of FRAUD and DISSEPTION.  As mentioned he changes emails, phones, addresses to try to avoid and escape people he owes money to.

See people, there is too much negative to say about Phillip.  He cant justify or answer these questions without lying or just flat out avoiding.  He is a COWARD as well as you can see.  A man and a real professional would have taken care of his clients, his contractual agreements/obligations.  Would not have ripped people of then lie about it.

More bogus referrals.  No name, claiming are notarized.  Seriously?  When has anyone
notarized a referral letter?  When has a notary notarized partial names?

He says he doesnt post name because wants to protect them.  I say HOGWASH!  Go check out the comments made on Vendiscuss.net.  There are other people who saw through Phillips bogus posts there as well.  Posters signed up one day and gone the next and not answer simple questions from other vendors.  Why?? If they were legit, if they really wanted to back up Phillip they would have
answered simple questions from vendors who wanted to know.

This is all more smoke and mirrors by Phillip.  He diverts from the real issues.  A 1993 referral has ZERO bearing on what he did in 2007-2009 to clients.  Now, maybe Phillip was good at one time but as indicated by others, the negative reputation Phillip has throughout the vending community and what he did during the specific time frame is far, far from professional and ethical.

Regardless of however many bogus or real referrals he wants to post, does not address what he did to several other vendors.  He still ripped myself and others off.  He still has other very dissatisfied clients at least during the noted time frame.  He was removed from a list of locators being used by a company because he was NOT performing and ripping people off.

So, the FACTS are:
1) Phillip Vernon did NOT perform to signed contractual agreement
2) Phillip Vernon has not refunded money owed me or others he has ripped off
3) Phillip Vernon has many negative reviews & thus a negative reputation in the vending industry as displayed in Vendiscuss.net
4)Phillip Vernon was removed from a locator referral list due to non-performance issues

Plus, as noted in post #2. There was a class action law suit out there against a Phillip Vernon.  I havent been able to confirm all the details but my gut tells me it is the same Phillip Vernon here.  This Phillip Vernon has ties to where that class action lawsuit took place.   What are the chances it would be someone else when this Phillip Vernon has ties in FL and that specific area?  Again, I cant
at this time prove poster #2 but if youre looking to do business with Phillip Vernon (BIG MISTAKE) that would cause concern and throw up a red flag.

Aside from that though, this Phillip Vernon of Vernon Vending Services, is nothing but a FRAUD, lying, conniving, dishonest, unethical, deceitful, scammer, scum, P.O.S., with no class, no professionalism.

Dont be fooled by his smoke and mirrors.  Signed contract.non-performance and did not then refund money owed back to clients. PERIOD!!!

Just because he may have located for one person, why ripoff the next?  Performing for one does not
justify the injustice and theft from the next. Keep the issues separate.  Phillip wants you to mingle the two or be distorted. Simple factsmy case he was paid $16,430 and only placed 12 machines
(mind you out of the contractual city and nowhere near agreed upon).  He never finished and never refunded money.  Non-performance.  A referral by someone else has ZERO bearing on the FRAUD and THEFT Phillip did.

I wonder though if this Chicago poster is someone he located for when he was supposed to be locating for me. Because he called me from Chicago once when he was already months, approaching
a year late on me but yet locating in Chicago.hummmm

To All those Concern about the SCAMMER Phillip Vernon:

The above posting, if legit, is from someone who may have dealt with Phillip in 1993.  A notary won't and can't notarize anything if you don't have your full name.

Things may have changed for Phillip in the new century.  Because he began to rip people off in 2007 and after and maybe before.

Below are responses I have received from people who have had things to say contrary to the above posters comments and confirm my experience.  You can also go to Vendiscuss.net (a great community of owners who have dealt with locators)  and view what others had to say about him and his rating.  There are other people who have been ripped off by Phillip and he can't deny that.

If Phillip was such an upstanding individual, he would have abided by the posted contract above and when he did NOT perform, refund what he did NOT earn and owes me.  I had asked for my money back many times.  Even well before he finally stepped foot in WI.  So when he cries about hotel, car, etc. is crap plus was not part of our contract and when he would leave and not place was his own fault.   But yet he has not refunded.  

So, the above posting by James does not address or support the above agreement that Phillip BREACHED!!    Besides, what he did for one person does not make right what he did for me and others.  He is a flat out a thief, liar, con, fraud, scammer, POS who is very deceitful, dishonest, unethical (hate to use the word) human.  Had no customer service, did not return calls, did not perform, did not refund what is owed me and others.

So, like I am stating.  Do your homework with this clown.  He has many dissatisfied customers who have been ripped off by him.  He posts an email address but he changes his email, changes his phone number to avoid people, does not provide a personal address because he doesn't want to be served court papers from ripping people off.  Address he gave was not his address.

If he was honest, had a smidgen of ethics, he would have refunded what he owes people but that will never happen because is is a FRAUD!!!!   Don't be fooled by his lies or those of people from 1993.  Look at the facts.  Facts don't lie.  Phillip is a good story teller but no facts or explanation for his BREACHING of a contract and NOT refunding clients money there after.

Does any of these add up to someone that is "professional"????  NOT at all.  A professional also would have refunded the money long ago.  Phillip is not even close to being professional.  He doesn't know what that word means and having met him, probably couldn't say it.  My gut tells me Phillip used my money on drugs.  If anyone has ever met Phillip, you would know what I mean.  Which again, he had my money before I met him.  He looks like a snake and would not have hired him if saw him in person to begin with.  He was a good liar and salesman on the phone.  I got suckered and screwed over by this thief.  I paid the price but forums like this allow me to fight back even though I will never see a dime from him.

I sole goal and hope is to save others from making the same mistake.  Those that do their homework won't hire him and thus won't be put in a position like I was/am with Phillip.

As I have stated, Phillip could have and can refund my money at any time but to date, has chosen not to.  Why would he?  He is out looking for more people so scam.

Phillip Vernon helped us get into the vending business back in 1993.With a small business my wife could run on a part-time basis, our objective was to get our children into private schools.

Mr. Vernon set up machines on a route for us in our area of town that proved to be profitable and helped our children through school. The price we paid was well worth the small business we grew.

Mr. Vernon was also professional enough to make sure, if a location wasn't doing well, to move the machine to a new location at no additional cost to us.

This was helpful as we built our route over a seven-year period.

Lets talk TRUTH and FACTS here.  Cut thru Phillip's LIES.

It is nice that people can write and inform others to watch out for FRAUDS and SCAMMERS such at Phillip Vernon.  I have saved quite a few people from making the same mistake I made of giving a dime to Phillip.  So even though Phillip wont man up and refund what he knows he owes me, I have saved others from being ripped off by this scum.  Now name calling isn't nice but when in fact it fits and properly describes someone, then so be it.

Phillip is full of lies and distorted truth.  I have proof and facts to back up every statement I make where as Phillip does not.  Slander is only slander when you lie but when you are truthfully describing someone, it is then TRUTH and not slander.  He has a hard time coming to grips with this.  Again SCUM, not a man of character.

He brings up items that first have nothing to do with his NON-PERFORMANCE and secondly is inaccurate and flat out lies.  (I had not been married.)

Vendiscuss was/is an awesome vending industry discussion forum.  Others saw through Phillip's lies and knew of his poor reputation before I said a word.  His so called references that dropped in to make one comment and then not answer questions were either fake posts or if they were real, why didnt they answer questions?  People wanted to know the truth?  Hummm

I talked to people who also hired Phillip and were also VERY DISSATISFIED with his performance (or LACK there of).  Again, I can give you those names if someone wants to check my facts.

Phillip has run from several people he owes money to and thus I am not the only person who got ripped off by Phillip.  One problem was that Phillip is a transient and with no address to server papers, he skated.  Which again proves why a forum like this is nice, so can warn those that do their homework prior to hiring this thief.  (Phillip, you want to provide a legitimate address to get served paper??  Not some mailbox) 

Phillip goes on to state things that are made up that there is nothing to respond to other than he is delusional and full of more lies.  I was looking for an income but to say that could not be traced is against the law and a lie, same with purchasing and then filing bankruptcy is against the law.  Phillip may break the law and rip people off but that is not me.

Phillip also mentions 90 days quoted before locatingthere is issues with that lie also but lets take if for face value at 90 days.  Phillips was contracted in mid-Nov (11/12/07) and per my email in July (7/16/08) I had not yet got anything from him and it just got worse from that point.  That alone is 8 months.  But is would take many more months yet before got anything.

Then per item #1 of contracts states Locator will locate and place the Equipment for Buyer in the Oshkosh, WI area.  So what is classified as in the area?  Would San Diego be in the area because it is still in the states?  Milwaukee is NOT, by any reasonable persons standard, within the Oshkosh area.

As for Phillip's locator that showed up.  He wanted more money and we had NOT placed one machine and I had already paid $16,430.  On top of that he was finding locations 1 hrs from where I lived which was NOT part of the agreement (noted above).  When I left that meeting I was told to get a truck and have machines and be ready to place machines a couple of days from that meeting.  Then later that day, he fled without informing me he was doing such.  I was ready to go
and no locator only to call him and find out he was in Atlanta. WTF!?!?  So what does $16,430 buy you with Phillip??  NOTHINGopps, let me correct that, stories and lies and run around.

Phillip wouldnt call for days sometimes weeks.  You call him and call him and call him with no response for days.  Yes I had no job but Phillip knew that before contracting but I was using credit to pay for everything so that really has no bearing on his non-performance once again.  Was an issue trying to get my route set up ASAP but nothing to cause Phillip from doing his job.  He already had $16,430.  That is one hell of a pay day to begin with.  Lets just assume that Phillip's made up story was true that I wasn't going to pay.  He still had $16,430.  That cant buy me some locations out of 255??????   I was going to pay for everything I got but that is just itI would get really nothing from Phillip other than that one point of 12 locations.  So as it stands, I paid $1369.17 per location.  WOW!!  RIP OFF!!!!

I kept Phillip informed every day/week of things but never knew what Phillip was going to do.  Once he says he is sending in someone then weeks late still nothing.  One point he was supposed to be sending his sister from Denver or Utah and another guy and knock this out and gave me specific date and date came and went.  Another time he was head to me from Oklahoma and that is only 1-2 days drive and weeks later no sign of him.  Every time that I did finally talk to Phillip, I would ask him about these things and I would get nothing but more lies, excuses, stories etc.

Phillips states here I drove with him finding places.  Ummm hello PhillipQUIT LYING.  You met me at the hotel in Oshkosh, we drove one industrial park and then dropped me off.  However, during that time, we discussed finding locations within the Fox Valley area (that being Fond du Lac up to Appleton).  This was CLEARLY stated as was CLEARLY stated I did not want and you were NOT contracted for Milwaukee.  What did you do after that meeting?  You took off to Milwaukee against my approval, against what we discussed, and against what is stated in our agreement.  Why is that so hard to see?  It is in writing!!!!  You never could address this.  Just avoidance and more lies.

Then weeks later, I agreed to place at a few locations you had found in Milwaukee against my better judgment and you did that for part of 1 day.not even 1 stinking day and took off again. Where did you go???   Those were extremely difficult to manage because of distance and had to sell those dozen locations and they were not that good of locations at that.  I had 1 good location.  WOW you were so good.NOT.

Next you say I put you off.  LIES!!!!  Every day I was supposed to be ready I was.  Most of those times I got stood up.  Only twice did I ever meet you.  Remember, one day I drove all the way to Milwaukee, waited and waited for you, called you and called you then got the way back home when you decided to call.  Dont try to say I put you off.  You are such a liar.  When I say scum, that is being polite with you.

Another time you were in Chicago and was supposed to be heading up but never showed.  One lie after another with you.

You are correct, I offered you $5 after over a year of your BS and locations that were stale, where not where you were CONTRACTED to find locations etc. I shouldn't have even offered that.  You stole from me.  How much were you given to purchase gum balls for me at your special source that never got delivered?  How much where you given for locating and how many locations did I actually get?  Those are the facts.   You got $16,430 ($11,500 50% deposit & $4930 for gum balls) from me and I got was 12 locations out of 255 contracted for and out of the region you were contracted for.  You are a FRAUD.  There is no denying that.  Plain and simple and clear cut.

What Phillip wants to do is cloud things up.  Contract was for locations at the agreed upon price.  I paid my 50% down (which was stupid to do) and then gave you money for gum balls that never received.  You didnt perform and did not find locations as contracted for.  What you want to do is state airfare, car rental etc which are NOT part of the contract or agreement.  Because you didnt know what you were doing and only intended to rip me off (as well as others).  You never had an answer to this when I bring up the contract.  You always play avoidance and bring up other non-pertinent items.  Had someone ethical, honest, with character would have come in, they would have did their job, got paid and left.  Simple and done.  You did NOT do that.  You only intended to live off the money you stole from me.

As for coming highly recommended, yes they suggested you but you are not part of the machine company and when I went back with them, they couldnt do anything and quit referring you or so they said, and I quote We have pulled Phillip's name from our list of recommended Locators. This was because of your poor performance to many other clients.

Is sad you are still ripping people off.  Nothing about me is dishonest or manipulative.  I was manipulated by you and deceived by your lies and dishonesty. I have family and friends that can back up these statements as well.

The offer still stands.you can still refund the money you owe me.  But know I will never see a dime from you because you are a coward and con-artist.

As for others, you can gladly contact me.  I can forward you emails I received from Phillip, give you contacts of others who have also been ripped off by Phillip.  My story isnt unique with regards to Phillip.  He has done the same song and dance with others.  I have other documents and proof to back up my statements.  Phillip is full of lies and stories that are untrue or smoke to detract from that real facts and issue.  He was contracted to find and place vending machines in a region plus given money for the purchase of gum balls.  He did not find and place 255 vending machines as contracted, did not deliver 2 skids of gumballs as paid for.  Phillip's smoke, about hotels, cars, etc are not part of the contract and tried to get me to pay for that after the fact.  Had he did his job on-time and as contracted, that would not have been an issue.  He now brings it up to distract from the facts and real issue of non-performance.

My name is Phillip Vernon owner of Vernon Vending Services. I find it strange that people can write such liable things about a person and not even include their name in the report.

The man who has written this report and report number 4 is Troy Wagner from Oshkosh Wisconsin. I am just responding to this report because I just found out about it. Troy has continually slandered and tried to discredit my name, not only here but on another web site.

Vendiscuss  When I found out about his dishonest remarks about me on this web site I immediately responded.
People who did not even know me called me names and accused me of dishonest behavior. I was talking about what Troy Wagner had done on this web site to some of my clients.

A few of my clients took it upon themselves to write a reference as to the success in the vending business they have had as a result of doing business with me.  

They were also called liars and frauds.One of my clients who took it upon herself to write a reference about me
was a woman. She called me days after she had written the reference in tears asking me why these people were writing such lies about her. They do not even know me, she said.

I went to the web site. When I read what they had written about these good people, I decided no ood could be done at this web site, and never returned to the site. Troy Wagner did contract me to do the locating for his vending equipment. When we first began to talk on the phone, he informed me he was losing his house through a divorce and was going to file bankruptcy.

Troy said on the phone, his intent was to set up a cash income that could not be traced before he filed his bankruptcy. Troy said he was going to charge the machines he bought and then include the credit cards in the bankruptcy. Weather he did or not, I do not know.

We were very busy at this time and Troy was told before he sent me the required 50% deposit It would be more than 90 days before I could have a locator to begin his locating.

Troy sent me the deposit and I scheduled a locator to fly into Milwaukee to secure the locations for Troy.
I sent a locator to Milwaukee as agreed. When the locator arrived he called to meet with Troy. Troy met with the locator. At that time, Troy informed the locator that he had no money to pay the remaining 50% balance due.
The locator then left Milwaukee. The locator called me to tell me what Troy had done.

I then called Troy. Troy gave me a hard luck story about being jobless, his wife leaving, and osing his house in foreclosure. Troy said he would have to move in with his parents and store his machines in their garage.
Troy asked me if I would locate all of his machines and finance the balance owed since he had no money, no job.

Financing the balance $12,500 over 36 months, the payments would only be 347.22 per month. A route of 250 machines would easily pay this payment. I had financed others in the past with no problem. I thought it would be a good for him and a good for me. I told troy I would come into Milwaukee and personally set up his route and
finance the balance. When I arrived in Milwaukee, I met with Troy. To determine the most profitable area to set up Troys vending route, Troy and I together drove the Large retail and the industrial areas in Milwaukee, Fon Du Lac, Oshkosh and Appleton Wisconsin.

When we finished the two days it took to drive these areas, Troy agreed that Milwaukee Was the largest city, as a result, Milwaukee had larger businesses. This being the case Troy would make more money in Milwaukee.
Averaging about 25 locations per week it took me over it took me over 10 weeks (2 1/2 months) to complete his locations.

When it was time to deliver...Troy was the one who put me off. Troy said he had just got a job and needed more time before he could deliver. I came back at Troys request over 6 times in a 7 month period. Each time, with a good excuse, Troy put me off. After the third month I had to go back to all 250 locations to tell them we
were going to finally deliver the machines.

This took another week in hotel as well as airfare and rental car expense. Again Troy blew me off. I tried to give Troy the locations so he could deliver them. He insisted I deliver the machines with him. The last time I flew into Milwaukee to deliver Troys machines, Troy blew me off again.

On my way out of town, Troy called me up and offered me 5 (five) dollars per location. He said the locations were too old. (I charge, and Troy agreed to pay $100 per location) At that time, I understood why Troy continually put me off. I do not believe Troy ever intended to pay. At that time, I told Troy I was done with him. Troy Wagner is not mentally stable. He has since called me over 90 times in one day. As well as sending the same amount of text in the same day. All he wants to do is spew out accusations that are not true and try to discredit my name.

Troy said he paid me $16,430 for locations. Like many of his other statements this is Not true. 250 locations at $100.ea = $25,000. Troy paid me a 50% deposit totaling $12,500. Troy purchased gum, at cost, for $3,930.
Not including the airfare, rental car and hotel for the locator I initially sent, When it was all said and done, reviewing all the airfare, hotel and rental car cost, I spent well over $18,000.

I have been in the vending business for over 26 years. I came highly recommended to Troy Wagner from a very reputable vending company. I have never run across a client who has been so dishonest and manipulative. Reflecting back, I wish I had never agreed to finance the balance. Troy Wagner had a hard luck story. I wanted to help him.

Since this unfortunate occurrence with Troy Wagner, I no longer take deposits up front, unless the client is a Manufacturer or Distributor.

Let's get this straight and back on track.

This is not about a Lou LaVilla or Vending Concepts.

This is about the vending locator named Phillip Vernon who had the above address and phone number.  (Believe that number no longer is used by him because he changed it because he was a coward and would not deal with his FRAUDULENT activity.)

So unless Lou happened to hire the Phillip Vernon that ran Vernon Vending Services and was a vending locator a few years back and claimed to be from Dallas then I think your argument and that of poster cer are off base and not pertaining the right person.

The Phillip Vernon for this report is a COWARD, LIAR, THIEF, FRAUD, and out to SCAM and rip people off.  Now the name Phillip Vernon is not unique which could cause some confusion but given the address, the phone number and he has been known by others...this P.O.S. Phillip Vernon is unique and one to AVOID!!!!

As you state people can make claims but I have documentation to back up my statements.  They are FACT and can be proven what a loser this Phillip Vernon "locator" is.

Hello Everyone,

Im a long term employee with   Vending Concepts.   One of our customers called me and said that I needed to   visit your web page and  clarify the facts.   Upon review,   I have to admit that I am surprised at how   easy it is  for  an individual  to post completely incorrect and inaccurate  information  that  slanders  a very reputable and well know  company,  its owners and  could  possibly  damage our reputation in this industry.  Once something like this is posted people see it and pass judgment with knowing the facts and it cannot be undone.   In fact -If I had not been notified by a loyal customer then this misinformation would still be out there and stand uncorrected. 


The facts are :

Vending Concepts is currently owned  and operated and has always been owned and operated  by  Lou LaVilla  and not-  Philip Veron.  Philip was a New Hire for Vending Concepts in late 2011 or early 2012. He is employed here but that is the extent of it.  Im not even sure if he is the same person.   I do not know him very well  since he has not been  here  long but, what I have seen is a hardworking 9 to 5  employees  who does a good job  and is very knowledge in  the vending industry.   He is not responsible for collections or any part of the accounting dept.  nor is he even a signer on the company bank accounts.  He reports to Mr. LaVilla  just like all the other department managers do.

Vending Concepts has had an unblemished reputation in this industry and our customers always come back. That is  exactly why we are  so upset. We are not a company that sells locations.  We are a used equipment refurbishing and remanufacturing  company.  We sell equipment all over the country.   We probably house over 500 (five hundred) machines of various makes and models in our Ft Worth warehouse   at any given time.  We carry out a detailed regiment when refurbishing   and remanufacturing   each individual piece of equipment.   People buy them from us in a location ready condition.   We do occasionally sell equipment that is on location.   In most cases Vending Concepts offers those type of setup   with a special  in  house financing option.  In doing so, we are putting ourselves  in a position of not being paid  if we misrepresented  what were  selling And we NEVER  ask for money up front  before a client decides to purchases  a location  in which they been allowed  to see. 

In other words . This is not even remotely close to the various scenarios s described in your  forum.  Customers  buy  machines and pick them up right then  and there or  make arranges for  shipping. If they elect to purchased equipment on location they pay and pick up the keys that day.  We can usually  give a detailed sales history report because our employees have been servicing the location for Vending Concepts and recorded the sales.   We added this option for equipment on location because many of our customers have a hard time placing machines and just want a turnkey operation with no guessing or unknown factors.  The bloger above  who
posted the  bogus information has   stated that she  came in and asked for Phil.  She was told he was not in.  She then committed that she began to ask  several questions about Phil  and the office  girl looked confused.  Well Im  sure she was wondering why this person was so concerned   about  one of our new employee.  I would have been too.   She even attempted to make us look suspicious  because we  elect keep the main door  locked. 

People ..we are involved in an   all cash  business and I for one do not want to get robbed or shot .  This is just the nature of the vending business and anyone who  has been involved in this business understands this.  Vending machines generate  cash sales  not checks.  Safety is a priority.

 The bloger then goes on to comment that she had never heard anything negative  about this company.  I assume she intended to be the first.    However- ironic as it is, that  just happens to be about  the only thing in the entire article that is true.  I havent either.  That is because it does not exist. People just dont   say unfavorable things  because they are treat fairly  and  usually come right back and  buy again or become  regulars  with Vending Concepts. I would also like to go back and add one more  comment about  the character of Mr LaVilla.   I have worked here for a number of years and  I can honestly say that I have never known a better person. He is a dedicated individual and the best businessman I have ever met.   He is a hardworking, honest, ethical,  Christian man who  is more  than an employer  to everyone here .  He is also our friend.   His good nature  and dedication  are the  perfect example of how  to  run  a company  that does not just survive in  a struggling  economy but,  thrives  in it.  He has obviously   passed these  qualities and business ethics on to his sons who also work here.  They- like their  father ,   are well mannered and  respectful .    The Yes sir/ no sir types who are always respectful   to others .  A quality which we unfortunately do not see very often   in todays youth. 

This blogger  did not  even take  the time to walk into our warehouse or  even  say hello to Mr. LaVilla.  She just jumped into a band wagon and attempted to fit in as if she had been wronged in some way.   This is not the case. She has never spent  a dime  in this office , never looked at the programs or equipment , or  even took the time to go past the front desk.  If she had simply taken a few steps into the warehouse she would have been impressed with our operation.  It is a pretty aw inspiring thing.   Hundreds of machine stacked 2 high and
stretching row after row throughout the numerous warehouses we occupy.  We have tons of docks, and shipping preparation  areas,  a paint room , parts rooms,  a make ready room, and lot and lots of offices   for  our operations manager, service manager, warehouse manager , office manager, sales manager,  accounting people, service  technicians, route drivers,  equipment movers,  just to mention just a few groups.  Vending Concepts is not some fly by night operation and once you see the infrastructure and inventory on hand-  it would be apparent to even a small child that   this is the real deal .    I would like to invite anyone in this forum  to come visit our  facility and check us out on the web at  www.vendingconcepts.net.   We  are easy to find.   In fact- we spend a lot of money advertising just so people can find us.    Do your own investigation and you will understand why we  were so offended  by the incorrect  post and negative comments .   None of our employees are perfect and we dont claim to be.  We just treat our customers like we expect to be treated.  Mr.  LaVilla demands that everyone give 100%  in their particular  skill set  and we all gladly give him 110%.    He deserves it.

I think this could be the same Phillip Vernon working out of a address in Ft. Worth Texas. 3853 E. Loop 820 South. 76119. I found his add in the ft. Worth Star Telegram and decided to look it up and paid a surprise visit. His warehouse is behind security gates but they were opened so I drove on in and had to ring a bell.

They let me in and looked surprised. I started asking a lot of questions and the person looked confused and you could tell he didn't know if he should answer them or not.

I was told Phillip was not there and given his business card. He called me back twenty minutes after I left. High pressure sales pitch to get me involved asap.
I have been in the vending business before and know not to get in a hurry without checking people out first. Also you never I mean never do business with people who take your money before a route is established. Always only purchase already existing routes and make sure they let you see them and talk to the people at the business or apt. complexes were the machines are placed. Asked to see the sales permit and write the registration numbers down so you can check on it with the State comptroller office.

His company is called Vending Concepts. As of now I couldn't find one single complaint or comment on this company on the internet which makes me very suspicious. Changing names and moving on I suppose. He pulled his ad soon after my visit. I hope this helps somebody from not getting ripped off. 

Please be aware that Phillip M. Vernon was found guilty in a class action suit brought against him in the state of Florida. You should be able to get information from the Sarasota Police department. He also has a long list of bad check writing.

Mr. Vernon has spent his entire life ripping people off. He took me for thousands. I am a single mom. He almost wiped me out.

Do not do any business with him.
