They were listed as a Commercial Lender in the add. Eric Lerman, the owner, signed a contract as a "Consultant" to secure a real estate loan for me. He charged Thousands of dollars in upfront fees and promised to find us funds from one of many "wealthy investors" that he does business with.

Eric Lerman Is an Awesome and Fair Underwriter!

I am a Funding Specialist, and have worked with Eric Lerman for a good while now. Eric does not charge "Up Front Fees," Eric Lerman is an Underwriter, and rightly charges very nominal fees to be hired to do his job once he offers a legitimate document to the borrower - which is legal. The borrower then has the OPTION whether to hire the company to perform due diligence, and the underwriting necessary to get to a loan closing.
I personnally have seen him in action on a site visit, and he is phenominal in what he does. He tries every way he can to get the job done, whether the client has done what they were told to do or not!
I have seen this same posting mentioned several times on the Internet, slandering Eric. What you need to be looking for is has there been any lawsuits? Has he been in any trouble by the FBI, CIA, Interpol? The answer is NO, he has not.
The person which posted this has not posted accurate information. He was actually offered a loan by Eric Lerman, and he turned it down. Did he post that information? I believe I did see that somewhere, but not on RipOff Report.
Note that all of the postings on RipOff Report about Eric Lerman say the same thing, and are from one person because that person was mad. These postings cannot be removed. Out of the goodness of his heart, there was no action taken by Eric - everybody has a right to their opinion. However, these postings cannot be removed, and are here forever.
Bottom Line - Eric Lerman is NOT a Scam, he is Safe to use, and so is his company - I've been working with them for a long time now!
