This is my story: My 20y daughter saw the ad in the Sunday Apr 17 2005 Star Ledger. She called early on Monday 4/18. She had an interview for the next day. She came back raving about this awesome management job. She was told by Holly that if they liked her they would call her for a 2nd interview to be performed by Donnie.

2nd Interview was on Thursday 4/21/05. Again she return with excitement. She said; mom its awesome they offered me a management job. I'm going to make $30k, I'm going to have my own Office, they provide benefits and we are having a contest. Contest for what? Hmm I became very suspicious.

On her 1st day of training Monday 4/25/05 she was given bottles of toilet water (Knockoff Perfumes) to sell to her FFAR (Family Friend and Relative). She sold 7 bottle of cheap toilet water (knockoff perfumes) to several of FFAR. I asked how much did she sell the bottle for $30 ($210)& I get $5.00 for ea bottle I sell.

I started to ask questions. I asked her are you getting paid a salary or commission? She insisted she was getting paid a salary on top of her earn commission. I asked her; did you fill out a W4 and a Form I9. She said "no". I said, if you didn't fill those forms out then you not getting paid. Again she insisted she was.

Tuesday 4/26/05 off she went again to her job Phoenix Management at 448 Lincoln in Middlesex New Jersey

When Holly & Don speak to the trainees every word is script. So when you ask a question they tell you "no questions will be answered, write them down and bring them with you tomorrow". They tell all these lies to our children. They brain wash the young mines into believing all the crap they say.

Have you ever been to NYC Times Square and see those people play Guess which one is the Queen, and someone out of left field comes in to play and drops $50 on the table and flips the Queen to double his/her money and walks away with $100. You and I know that that person is with the dealer. We've all stood watching for a while before we throw our money on the table, only we don't get to flip the card over the dealer does and we loose. Well if you've seen those games then you know what I'm talking about.

By day 3 of training, Don & Holly are losing the recruits. To keep the remaining trainees interested they have one girl come in raving how she sold 50 bottles of toilet water (Knockoff Perfumes)and how she earned a total of $500 in just one day.

So, I bring home all the research I did. Phoenix Management is also know as Zinkin, Donniels Inc. which is a Child company for Parent company doing buisness as Scentura Creations.

Phoenix Management sells our young adults the pipe dream of being a manager. And having your own office, Health Benefits.

Holly & Don will tell you all this great stuff. They make the young recruits sign a "CONSIGNMENT", do these young recruits know the meaning of what they are signing? I bet not. Did you ever wonder why nothing is in writing, No handouts regarding the company and what they do, no handouts of company policies & benefits, why do they make all the recruits bring a notebook and pen to write down notes. The only reason is "NO LIABILITY" they can say all they want and so long as it's not written on their company letterhead or handed out it's not valid it could be misconstrued as a miss understanding on the part of the recruits. Did you ever wonder why they have those cheap plastic lounge chairs we all have in our patios, backyards or decks.

So here is what really happens. That management position they promised you, doesn't exist. If you are one of those lucky ones to reach that level, you better be prepared to pay them, that's right pay them your hard earn dollars! "Overhead Expenses" that office space they said could be yours, its yours alright for a price up to $800 per month, "Utilities", "Office Supplies & Equipment", "Health Benefits" yeah you pay (100%) for this too.

If you are truly one of those lucky one to have the gift of lab and sell those bottles of toilet water (knockoff perfumes) and reach the management level. Before you get your so called pay. All of these expenses will be deducted before you see a red cent of your hard work. "IT'S A PIPE DREAM"

I've managed to get my daughter out of the grips of this scam of a company. I just hope it's not too late for some of you out there.

If you experience anything such as this. Come on get on board and tell someone. Post your BAD BUSINESS Report.

First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Earley Gaynor, I went through training a year and a half ago in middlesex, new jersey. When I first started I answered the ad just like everyone else. But unlike the other people that I started with, I stuck with it and I finished the program. When I started I was in Job Corp, I was broke and I had no plan in life. I went from job to job to job until finally I answered the ad, Donnie did my first interview and he gave me the opportunity of a lifetime. When I started I had to do some sales (just like everyone else) but instead of quitting, I had to work harder. Long story short I finished the program in ten weeks (two weeks shorter than my goal). I now run a location of my own in Lanham, Maryland, which means I am a promotion of Donnie and Holly's. I now do the same job that they do, I signed up to be a manager and that is exactly what I am. I didn't get in this to do sales (which no one does). Donnie told me that I could make 30K my first year in the first interview. But in my business in its first year, I made $82,000. I feel like I scammed Donnie. People who blow out in their first or second week obviously didn't understand the business. They give anyone, no matter what race, color, gender, or age, the same opportunity they gave me. Free merchandise, free training, (the day you have to pay for something should be a red flag for you no matter what business) and they also give you the opportunity to move to any state with a business for free.

Like I said I went through training in New Jersey and I got the freedom to move to Maryland. Any person with a brain can look at all these negative letters and see that people run offices all over the country. So ask yourself, how did they get there? They got promoted there obviously. Running your own business isn't going to happen overnight, it takes more time and dedication to be successful in this and in any business. Anyone who says this is a pyramid scam or that you dont get promoted doesn't know what THE
F*** your talking about. Everyone has the exact same equal opportunity. All it takes to complete training is working hard( for yourself), dedication, and a little blind faith, believing that Donnie and Holly will get you open. I am so confident that I am going to leave my phone number (NOT FOR BLOWOUTS) but for people who actually want some advice on how to run a successful business for Scentura. 240-380-6157 or 240-330-7566. I have alot of respect for Donnie and Holly because if I was in the position, I wouldn't even bother running an office I would retire. They are great people and unbelievable promoting owners. I am 21 years old, I am black and I make decent money. Thanks to Larry Hohn for giving me the opportunity. When an opportunity like this comes your way it isn't about what someone else did or does for you but what you do with the opportunity yourself. See you at the top.

As a follow up on my report. Lets just say that Phoenix Management in Middlesex NJ should be held liable to pay my daughter for her time during her bogus trainning, by labor laws anyone working or performing labor for anyone should be paid the State Minimum Wage. Therefore Phoenix Management owes my daughter the minimum wage for a total or excess of 35+ hours of labor. PAY UP!
