National Studios - Ron Perkins Liers, Deceptive Practices, Idiotic Employees Maryland Heights Missouri

I was approached by a National Studios sales person at a local Sunfresh Grocery store in Independence Missouri. $10.00 for an 8 by 10 and I believe 16 wallets. You could choose black and white, color, or vintage and have as many people as you want in the sitting. Plus sitting fee of course. We were giving a date to take our pictures and then a date to pick them up or view them.

Of course these companies always try to sell you more of their product. I fully expected that. I wrote two seperate checks out for $109.20 each. One for October 08 payment and the other for November 08 payment because I decided to purchase one of their other packages. Well I was not happy with the original sitting, which had my husband, my 2 boys and myself in the portrait. (Let me say this was the first family portrait we had ever taken professionally together.)

I still have yet to receive those portraits. We have called and called and called. My husband spoke with Ron Perkins (manager) on 2 different occasions and assured us we would have those portraits by Wed 2-11. He was to mail them himself. We never received them. Called again on Thursday 2-12. Once again guaranteed we should get them by Friday 2-13. This is now 2-15 and still have not seen them.

I was told originally by 2-3 seperate employees that they never received my money and my pictures were being held. I faxed over my bank statements showing the 2 cleared checks that they cashed last year 2008. The people answering the phone are very rude and uncaring people. I will never do business with this or any other company like this again. I am also going to the Grocery Store the set up in and let them know what is going on as well. I willbe making a complaint with the BBB and let as many people as I can know how National Studios handles there SO CALLED business. UNETHICAL ALL THE WAY!!! Thanks for nothing.
