Pioneer Electronics Pioneer VSX-1121 Receiver gives UE22 Error code. This is happening to MANY owners Nationwide

The VSX-1121 appears to suffer grom a defect in one of the printed circuit cards. After a couple of years or less of operation these units stop working. No sound or loud noises go to the speakers and the unit flashes an error code UE22.
Pioneer refuses to acknowldge this problem and though units are just 12 months beyond warranty on average, they refer you to a repair shop for repair on your nickle.
