Do not pay Wayne any attention. Wayne is the owner of the school. He tries to impress you about the fact that......

1) He knows all these celebrities (who cares? we are here to learn)

2) That the President of a company would personally show you around the school and talk with you

3) He has all these jobs lined up as soon as you finish your course.

4) He tries to talk fast but people actually look at him as if he's slow.

This is school is a rip off. They try to make it as though they have so many jobs lined up for students but they dont.

It has been one whole year and I still have no job. The placement director is no good at all and does nothing to help former students find work.

This course was $600 dollars and not worth a penny of it. If you really want a degree try the school on West Liberty Ave. They are a lot cheaper and I heard they actually find students jobs.

Do not believe any of the testimonials on they're website WWW.BARTENDINGSCHOOLPITTSBURGH.COM

Avoid the school on Noblestown Rd. near Shop N Save.

I am a graduate of the school first and foremost. I took an abundance of material, training and hands on experience from the school and applied it to the industry and you know what, yes, I was successful! It was a lot of hard work on my end, ie hitting the pavement, multiple interviews and running all over the city. But in the end it paid off and I will always have this trade to fall back on, thanks to the Pittsburgh Bartending School! To address him speaking about his journey in his life (celebrities/president/white house/parties) is an opportunity for him to share with you where he has been and where he is at now - this is an opportunity for you to imagine the possibilities for your own life - it's not to speak arrogantly but to motivate you to want to achieve higher goals for yourself so that you find the same financial freedom.

Fast forward and I'm now an employee of the school and I have to say it was one of the most exciting opportunities I've had and has now lead me to be in a Management position with another company!

Wayne, in his own ways, brings both strengths and weaknesses to his company. The first and most important weakness is his poor judgement of character when hiring employees! These people were not only stealing from him but also from current and former students. He trusted you people to run and operate his school to a level of professionalism and you all failed this school and all past and future students. A very strong strength is his larger than life personality who trusts easily and is willing to do whatever it takes to help you out.

I find most of these allegations to be absurd and repulsive! Considering the people who are making these claims are the very same people who were stealing from him and now that you've hit rock bottom you want to blackmail him and sabotage his name so that you can get more money from him. If you are a graduate and filing these complaints, I would encourage you to look at your own actions - are you following protocol, are you actively seeking employment, and lastly, are you caught up and paid in full tuition because if you are not, then you will not receive first priority assistance as one would if they've done all the aforementioned.

Sincerely,

A Former Graduate and Employee of the Pittsburgh Bartending School

The teacher Jenn actually had the nerve to be in her office doing paperwork when she should of been teaching us . Jenn spent 50% of her time in her office . We would just sit and read in the lobby.  It was so akward. That's what $600 gets you.

They have a D- grade according to the BBB
