Everything is NOT as it appears with this group. They talk a good talk, but PLEASE BE WARY and DO NOT SIGN the contract without fully reading every single word of their 12 page contract, and even then it may not help you. And if you do sign I strongly recommend you cross out the 3-years and make it month to month. Once your contract is signed, they think they own you for 3 years. 3 FREAKING YEARS!! And it doesn't matter if you actually process with them, because as soon as you sign the contract, they start charging you a minimum of $44 every month. And once you start processing with them, the contract allows them to charge you for the same amount of processing for the entire 3 years. That means you will be paying them $44 each month for 3 years, even if you never process 1 card with them. And that's only the start. If you make the mistake and start processing with them and find that you are not being treated the way you expected, they can continue to charge you for the same amount pf processing for the same 3 years. What kind of company forces their customers to stay with them for 3 years? Any company that has a product that does not keep the customer satisfied and force is the only way to keep them. I made it clear to Pivotal, I wanted to stay with the Link Point gateway and was told I could with no problem. It was also agreed that I could go month to month. Once I signed up they immediately started to charge me $44, and only then, let me spend time trying to figure out how to use the gateway, knowing that it was not setup to be used when you deal with Pivotal. Lets face it, all processors have a similarity to loan sharks overcharging the business world for services that cost 1/5 of the charge. Effective interest rates hit 50% plus a year. But that's not enough for Philip Fayer and what I feel are a team of lying thieving thugs. They will immediate start hitting you for other charges, that you might not have thought of. For example, I started getting advertisements saying it was the law that I signup for PCI with the overpriced business associates. It is NOT the law that you have to sign up with any particular service and although the processors rip most for their customers each month, for not being PCI compliant, they do not have to be compliant, if the credit cards are not handled by them or their website. They don't care. It is jus one more way they can rip off their customers and you better believe they will do it. Call Your Congressmen and state Senators and demand that the credit card and entire banking industry be heavily regulated. We all now what happened to the entire world when the banks were deregulated.
