I am a reasonably new employee over at the Pizza Hut in Gold Canyon and Apache Junction. When I read the Rip-off Report flyers that were being passed around about my place of work I was really mad. Since then, I was asked to sign a bogus statement for Mrs. Betty Carter. She asked me and other fellow employees to sign a statement that she was a good manager and something about drug free environment, can't remember exactly, this was about 3 weeks ago. In an effort to show she, Betty Carter does not put up with drugs, she recently decided to use good employees like myself as a show of not putting up with drugs. Wrong! I was working at the Gold Canyon Pizza Hut mostly. Betty in an attempt to show she does not put up with drugs decided to advertise and boast that she was doing a bunch of firing because she never tolerates drugs. She had to do something according to other friends. So she fired myself and others! I don;t even smoke cigarettes. Never smoked anything in my life. Never tried a cigarette or a marijuana, ever! Other friends working at AJ Pizza Hut said it was so obvious that she did this after seeing the article in the Independent Newspaper and also had recent copies of Rip-off Reports filed on this web site. This woman is everything I thought she was not, which is what I had also heard. She is a very convincing, lying, underhanded b**** that looks like she is 99 years old and smells like a walking cigarette. She had me fooled. I'm like family to her. Betty, if your reading this, I will be testifying against you along with many others you never fired who left Pizza Hut because of your unscrupulous activities. I know about you steeling cash, altering records, switching out dated food around to the different restaurants. I will be contacting the lawyers handling the case against you. What amazes me is, your still giving free food to the police at the restaurant and deliveries to the cops at home!!! I know for a fact this is a violation by the police to even except free food. My parents are especially up set. You lied and you will not be getting away with it. My father said, what the hell is in Pizza Huts mind to let you still work there? Your fat, smelly, drunken delivery man Tom Bird is in a lot of trouble. Things he said to me and others not related to Pizza Hut will prove to be very damaging for you. I here he signed a statement for you he has been bragging about. Is that the reason why you keep him around? He says you won't ever fire him. Your his bud. You both have the same odor and you look like brother and sister. I must also tell you. I've never been in trouble in or out of school. I have an excellent grade point average and you Mrs. Betty Carter will be paying for what you did. Like I read somewhere else about you on these ripoff reports, you are an out of control individual and must be stopped. I will see to it. Other employees will be filing here too and going against you Betty. The Betty Pizza Huts

My lord, I don't know what's up out there, but have read enough to know I wouldn't want to work there, ever. Sounds like a major problem out there, that really needs to be dealt with quickly, and without any regrets.

I do however work for Rage Inc., I've been with the company for a little over a year this time, and about 9 months the time before this.

I was shocked to read the problem that is in the Danville, VA store.

Shocked for one, that a PIC would have this attitude, for two that they have so many people there over a year with that type of treatment, and for three that a person looking at it like that would still be there themself.

Now, don't get me wrong I can understand blowing off some steam. But if not done in the proper manner, and following the proper channels nothing gets changed. I have a total of maybe 5 regular employee's at this time that have reached a year in the store. The payrates go according to that time, as well as their abilities.

You're a member of the same company as I am, you have the ability to look into some of the same papers I see, 5204 is my store number, take a look sometime. We're not the busiest, nor the slowest in the company by anymeans. So we are surely not the worst attituded people, nor the best. We all have our days, after all we're only human. We all know each other, and get along pretty well while we're at work, even if we'd rather die than talk to each other outside of work. That's our jobs, true there are nights we get snippy, and bite each others heads off, but we all accept the fact that sometimes we have bad days.

I'm guessing there are problems other than Rage itself that's keeping your store from running the way it should with raises and whatnot. Those issues are something you should quietly take up with the channels in which were designed for such things. The Assistant Manager, Store Manager, Area Manager, District Manager, Regional Manager, etc. Surely someone along the way will grant you the information on what's up.

But just so ya know, the labor you're allowed per month isn't based on employee's sticking with your store. The ability to give raises (and meet your labor requirements), means increasing workloads on the employee's. Which as they stick around, they should become more experienced, and be able to pick up more of a workload with great ease....

Question is, are they willing to give that 100%, or are they settled with current rate of pay and only giving their bare minimum.

I have been reading many comments on Pizza Hut on this web site and to say that I am not surprised at what I am reading would be a lie. As a PIC for a Pizza Hut in southern West Virginia (RAGE Incorporated) I would have to say that I have seen many counts of sexual abuse, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, employee's getting treated like they're dirt, and the list goes on and on.

I am anything but happy about working for RAGE incorporated Pizza Hut in Danville, West Virginia. They constantly lie to their employees and many employees there have worked there for years and are making LESS then 5.50/hour!!! This is NO LIE and NOT a Joke!

Our store, the Danville, West Virginia, Pizza Hut is the #4 Pizza Hut in the nation in terms of sales and customer satisfaction yet the employees there get treated like pure dirt and there is no respect for anyone there (employees or customers) at all.

DO NOT go to work for RAGE incorporated! You are wasting your time and if you believe they're telling you the truth when they say "Your raise in coming" then you truly are playing your part in the Great Pizza Hut Scam!
