I ordered 3 sale items from PlanetRx. My order also qualified for free shipping. They charged my credit card immediately. I followed up when the items were not received after several days. The items were back ordered with a new ship date over a week later. I followed up again and they had changed the ship date farther out again. Each time I followed up the date had been moved later. I believe they simply do no wish to honor their advertised sale prices and free shipping. The items I ordered are widely available from several similar businesses. I believe they deliberately avoid fullfilling orders where all of the items are discounted sale items. I contacted them by email and their responses were always vague. They give a new ship date and then changed it to a later date. This happened 4 times. All the while the same items I ordered were still listed for sale on their web site and not showing out of stock. There are numerous other similar complaints about PlanetRx online (such as ConsumerAffairs.com) I believe PlanetRx are practicing bait and switch, hoping consumers be attracted by sale items and buy other products instead of the discounted ones or in addition. It would appear they will simply delay an order or say it is out of stock if it is not profitable for them to deliver only sale items. Also, they charge credit cards immediately even when they claim they are out of stock. I will never do business with them again. Other consumers have similar complaints to mine. Planet RX takes orders and charges customers and then does not deliver. They also say that PlanetRx takes several weeks to issue refunds or not at all.
