Platinum had a sales rep going door to door in my neighborhood and it was something new as far as if the phone line was cut so we deiced to try it after having Slomin's for 10 years.

They came to install the system that evening sayin we were the last one for the night and they were ther from about 8:30 until 12:00am. The system was not installed that night they left wires hanging out & exposed until the next day. The following day they came back out and so-called finshed the job. The system was tested and we thought everything was fine.

On Oct 2nd tragedy struck my home when my home was invaded with my child in the home & the sytems moition detetors were not working so my child didn't know that someone was in the home. Even the police thought the installers may have something to do with this crime as in 10 years no one has every had a break in on my block or my home. I called to ask why the stem did not work correctly and was told from moniotoics that they neve got a signal from my system at all. I immeditely stopy my automatic payments until I could investigate more. I called all the number I was given by the sales rep and superviosr and both were disconnected (utah numbers)

I spoke with several represtatives in refrence to canceling the contract & was told give them a second chance they can come out & fix the problem. Boy was I happy tha I didnt cancel Slomin's because they came out to reinstall there equipment. When Slomin's came out they techinique said you better be glad you called us because your family was not protected at all this is like a dummy system the moition or fire alarms are not wired to anything they are just there for show. I was levit becuase we had a fire in our home almost 3 years ago and if it wasn't for Slomin's we would have not made it our alive.

I have being trying to cancel this contract & get my money refunded for a month. I told them you don't play game s with people lives this is a very serious matter, what if my child had been shot or seriously injured due to your neglianace.
