My wife received an email to log onto Yahoo Instant Messenger to interview for a personal assistant position with Plethico Pharmaceuticals. I thought it was strange to conduct an interview over IM and so did she. She logged on and sure enough was interviewed online by an individual who stated he was Mr. Vanessa Ranta.
My wife sent me a transcript of the chat and it was obious to me that this had to be some type of phishing scam or otherwise. It had all of the tell tale signs like poor grammar, misspelled words, vague and ambiguos questions and responses. Same line as the previous reports about working from home until the San Diego branch office was opened.
She closed the chat before they could ask any further questions or develop any more personal information.
