PLS Loan Store Stole From Me Madison, Wisconsin

I received a title loan for $500.00 from Pls in Madison, Wi. I was late making a couple of payments, so I called the store and talked to them. The person I talked to had told me to come in with the money and I could get my loan up to date, when I went in another person informed that I had to pay the whole loan off which at this time was close to $900.00 which I could not afford. They also informed me that I would only have 15 days to come up with all the money to pay the whole loan off or they would repossess my vehicle which was a 1997 Chevy Suburban. I could not come up with all the money so they repossessed my vehicle, so I called their corporate headquarters and spoke to a lady there who said that if they repossessed my vehicle then I would be done so I didn't think about it anymore. Now 6 months after the fact people from pls started calling me telling me that they were going to garnish my checks because I owe them $1500.00. The first person that I spoke to didn't even know that they had already taken my vehicle and sold it, so she said she would check into it and get back to me. Well I never heard from her again and then a couple weeks after that another person called me this time from a collection agency threatning to garnish my check if I did not pay the $1500.00.

I want to know how can they get away with robbing people like this. Had their representative told me at the time that they sold my vehicle that I wasn't done and that I still owed more money I could have got the rest paid off. But no they waited for 6 months and that whole time it was collecting interest and has added up to $1500.00.

So for a $500.00 loan I have lost my vehicle which the blue book value on it was $1700.00 and I have to pay $1500.00.

For everybody else I would recommend never go to PLS because they will rob you blind.
