Was hired on 8/25 by Kenneth to do photography for a Lexus at a concert on the 29th. Was sent google invite and accepted. Stayed in complete contact. Arrived on time, but was not on the security list, so I couldn't get in. Got in touch with the person I was supposed to contact when I arrived and was let in. Stood for 4 hours taking photographs.
I spend over $40 in gas round trip to go to this conerct (almost 80 miles each way) Drove for almost 3 hours. 15 minutes before I arrive I received an email telling me the dress code (which I didn't follow since I had already been driving for over 2 hours.
When I arrived home, I got the pictures ready for Kenneth. I sent him nearly a dozen emails asking about where I send the pictures, and how I was getting paid. He never responded. I finally threatened him with legal action and I got a response.

I am related to the individual in question, and I would like to state that I believe everything that Craig has stated. I have witnessed my relative behaving in this fashion in almost every compnay he has owned and he has owned quite a few.
I have also had the occasion to work for him several times and swore never to do it again. Both times I was between jobs and the worked seemed satisfactory and to my liking upon description, however Kenneth Dunning does not give the parameters of the job in advance, and he refuses to answer any quesitons, stating that it's easy and to just do what you think makes sense. He then explodes when the work is completely, stating that you did not follow guidelines, which were never provided to you, even when you requested them, and he refuses to pay.
He is a menace and is not to be trusted and I would highly recommend that no one accept work from him regardless of how enticing the offer seems.

Lies and more lies

I promised to remove the report if he paid me what he owes me, yet he continues to lie and say he never hired me... and that I snuck into the event.
I have filed a lawsuit against him. It will be submitted Monday morning. Such a shame that he wouldn't pay... now he will be forced to travel to Georgia to face the lawsuit... the plane ticket alone will cost him 3x what he owed me... then he will have to pay me what he owes, pay lawyer fees, court fees, and some money for my trouble. Gotta love subpoena power! :)
Looks like I may cost him several thousand dollars more than he would have spend had he actually paid me for the work I did.
Enjoy Kenneth!

All lies...

I even have emails from the other two photographers, who have also caught him in lies.
Claims I said I'd do job for free... Yes, I was doing free jobs... but local, not long distance. I even emailed him back asking how could I be shure that he would pay me after the event, because I couldn't afford to waste the $40+ in gas it would take me to travel to and from the event. 120 Miles round Trip... In rush hour. Took me almost 2 1/2 hrs to get there. I sat at the security gate for an additional 30 minutes before my contact was able to come get me.
He knew where I was coming from. There was *never* a discussion to do free work.
Why would he send me an text at 5:30 on the dot asking where I was? I had already been in contact with the person on site. I wasn't late. I showed up at the first gate at 5:22. I was then sent to the second gate where I arrived at 5:29. That too, was the wrong gate. I then had to go to the service entrance, where I texted my contact 6 times.
The "dress" code is a joke. You might wanna actually tell someone *ahead* of time about what to wear... not by sending an email 15 minutes before the event. You knew that I had a long drive. I told you this in emails.
Even the other photographers are calling him a liar. Even stating that he didn't tell us about dress code till after... and disputing his claims that the other 2 photographers said I was unprofessional.
Comment 1:
I'm sorry he's being such a *** head. For me, getting information out of him is like pulling teeth. You haven't sent him any pictures, right? Hold on to them just in case, but make no further effort to contact him - you've done all you can from your end. I'd say take a deep breath, chalk it up to experience, release it and move on.
Comment 2:
I'm located in midtown Atlanta.
Jon
Comment 3:
what a racket!
Jon
Comment 4:
He's lying. You never acted badly on site and I never said anything of the sort. He called me after the job and said "somebody" showed up in T-shirt & shorts. I played dumb. I said that I wore black simply out of habit but never got an email about it beforehand. My responses to him were mainly "hmmmm" and "really?"
Jon
Comment 5:
He asked me what everyone wore the night of and I told him.. There was no "s**t talking" on my end, I told him that it would probably be good for him to mention dress code in the beginning to eliminate confusion.
Gerren
Comment 6:
Dude that sucks.. I hate that happened to you
Gerren
Comment 7:
Your name had to be on the list for them to let you in.... a bunch of hogwash bro
Gerren
------------
You have no ground to stand on Kenneth. Your lies keep coming back to bite you... and you get caught in *more* lies.
If I have to, I'll do a video showing all my emails, so you cannot dispute anything that you said to me.
BTW, I've started a company with Gerren and Jon. :) The guys that you claimed said that didn't like me and I was unprofessional. Makes sense. *lol*
I gave you this site address, because I wanted to see if you would actually man up and do the right thing. Apparently not. Now I'll continue to submit to the other 30+ ripoff sites I've found on the internet.
Sincerely. :)

To make this simple you can look at the photos that the person attached and will see I found hhim on craigslist. You will also see if you look closely that his headline for craigslist where I found him was photographer who will shoot your event for FREE to build portfolio. Its also in the headline where he sent messages that we had back and forth.
There was suppose to be only 2 photographers at the job site taking photos and he wanted to do a job for FREE. I told him if he arrived on time I would get him a pass to get in and shoot the job with the other photographers on hand.
He arrived 1 hour late and could not get in. Some how he did get in and as you can see in the screen shot attachements it said to wear all black. He arrived in shorts and TV!!! He was not supposed to be there since arriving late, snuck in using my name that he was supposed to be on the list, the company called me about him and I said let him stay, he is shooting for FREE and wants to build his portfolio. They let him stay.
Now after the event becasue he had to pay so much money to get to the venue which he didn't expect and I never wanted his photos, now he wants compensation! Its just wrong!!!
Now I see anyone can ad a ripoff report to this site and its hurts your company. I should add one about him but I hope everyone reads this and reads his first comments and see's he advertised to work for FREE and now wants to be payed!! I was giving him a HUGE chance to prove himself and he showed up 1 hour late, in shorts, and very unprofessional.
