PNY Technologies ripoff dishonored Mail-in rebate Parsippany Pennsylvania

I purchased a 1GB Attache Portable Flash Drive (SKU#317814) by PNY Technologies from CompUSA on 03/22/2006. The purchase was made online. There was a $20 PNY mail-in rebate (offered by PNY Technologies) form which I filled out and sent to the address on the rebate form (P.O. Box 540004, El Paso, TX 88554-0004) on 03/28/2006. I also sent the original UPC code cut from product package and a copy of the sales receipt as required by the instructions on the rebate form.

I never received a rebate check or even a confirmation email from PNY Technologies up to this date. I checked the website www.pnyrebates.com listed on the rebate form, and found no record of my rebate request. I then called the number on the rebate form, 888-808-5931, sometime in late June 2006. I was asked to re-send the copies of my first submission to an address in Florida, which I did. The same thing happened; I never heard from PNY Technologies and there is no record of my 2 rebate submissions at www.pnyrebates.com.

At this point I have no reason to believe that PNY Technologies are still processing my submission since it is almost 6 months from my first submission. I do not believe they intend to honor their rebate offer either. Therefore, I am submitting this complaint on their rebate practice. I have copies of the sales receipt (which clearly listed the $20 Mail-in rebate), the UPC code, and the filled rebate form which I sent on 03/28/2006. Please let me know if you need me to submit these for your review.
